Background
Rick's disappearance left Beth in Diane's care; Diane supported her through college before dying. Beth became pregnant with Summer while in college, later judging her own medical career harshly and believing she had failed the independent, strong-willed mother who raised her 129.
Beth married Jerry and raised Summer and Morty with him. Rick's return and Morty's increasingly dangerous adventures destabilized the household, leaving Beth caught between wanting a normal family life and adapting to multiversal crises 69 239.
Appearance
Beth strongly resembles Summer; Summer is described as sharing roughly eighty percent of Beth's appearance 37. She usually goes barefaced, making Morty's notice of her lipstick and unusually radiant appearance conspicuous 79.
- Normally does not wear makeup 79.
- Has been described as having beautiful hair 437.
- Can appear visibly exhausted or haggard during periods of family strain 79.
Personality
Beth is intensely protective of Morty. When AI Rick promised information on her missing son, she shot Krey on his instruction and immediately demanded to know where Morty was 50. Her devotion can become obsessive, making her vulnerable to manipulation by anyone who claims they can help him 50.
She is direct, volatile, and unwilling to tolerate Jerry's repeated failures. After learning he lost a job within two hours, she publicly berated him; however, she also recognizes that his cowardice can function as an almost supernatural survival instinct during disasters 353.
Despite her harshness, Beth wants her household to remain intact. She considered recovering the original Jerry from Jerry Daycare because she wanted someone at home when Morty and Summer left on adventures, and later supported Morty's daughter Quinn living with the family 239 490.

Combat and Crisis Response
Beth becomes exceptionally capable when forced into danger.
- Killed Krey with a gun after AI Rick manipulated her through Morty's disappearance 50.
