With several powerhouses joining forces to intercept them, the charge of the dozens of ten-thousand-year subdragon soul beasts was finally checked.

But Lu Mingfei noticed that their expressions were far from relaxed.

Though these ten-thousand-year soul beasts had been temporarily stopped, there were simply too many of them, and even more continued pouring in from behind.

An Earthfire Lizard over twenty feet long pounced from the side, its entire body covered in dark red scales as scorching flames spewed from its mouth.

An Ice Dragon Beast, blue as ice from head to toe, followed close behind. A thin layer of frost formed across the ground wherever its four feet stepped.

A Thunder Giant Python launched itself down from above the rock wall, blue arcs crackling explosively around its body.

An Ice Dragon Silkworm coiled amid a pile of rubble, its icy vertical pupils fixed on the group as it exhaled a billowing mass of white frost.

Meanwhile, the Golden-Armored Dragon circled in from behind, its body clad in golden scales that shone like metal, like a moving golden fortress.

Five thousand-year soul beasts attacked at once from five different directions.

Yu Tianheng was the first to move.

He stepped forward, the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon possessing his body.

His two yellow soul rings lit up simultaneously as his second soul skill, Thunderous Might, erupted...

Countless blue arcs exploded from around him, transforming into dense bolts of lightning that shot violently toward the surrounding soul beasts.

The arcs struck several soul beasts with crackling explosions, but the Earthfire Lizard's scales were too thick. The lightning bolts left only a charred patch on its surface.

The Ice Dragon Beast's ice-element shield weakened the lightning by more than half.

The Thunder Giant Python was itself a lightning-element soul beast. Not only was it unafraid, it excitedly opened its mouth and swallowed the arcs.

The Golden-Armored Dragon did not even move as the lightning struck its body, its steps not slowing in the slightest.

Yu Tianheng's Thunderous Might failed to stop them even for an instant.

Seeing this, Yu Tianjiao's little face tightened. A pink giant dragon martial soul emerged from within her body.

Her first soul ring lit up. She thrust both hands forward, and a pink beam of light shot from her palms.

This was her first soul skill, Annihilation Ray, obtained from the Ironclad Dragon Bear.
