Background

Lu Mingfei was originally an overlooked student on Earth. After the events at Red Well, Lu Mingze sent him to Douluo Continent to seek Hui Liyi, whose soul had supposedly reincarnated there. He awoke as an infant in the new world and was found abandoned at Holy Soul Village's entrance by Old Jack, who raised him as his adoptive grandson. 2 58

For six years, Lu lived in Holy Soul Village while retaining memories of his former life. He initially regarded himself as a cowardly failure and did not expect an extraordinary martial soul; Hui Liyi's memory, however, gave him a reason to pursue strength. 2

At his awakening ceremony, he manifested the Black Dragon King. Its bloodline pressure forced Su Yuntao's soul power to recoil and nearly drove the Spirit Hall deacon to his knees.
