Jade Phosphor Pill

Yu Yuanzhen shot skyward like a bolt of lightning tearing through the night, vanishing into the pitch-black heavens.

Meanwhile, Dugu Bo had already rushed through the night with Dugu Yan and Lu Mingfei, arriving deep within Sunset Forest.

His speed was astonishing. Every rise and fall of his steps carried him dozens of meters, while the trees and rocks beneath him blurred into streaks of color that flew backward, the wind whistling sharply in his ears.

Dugu Yan was held in her grandfather's arms, her small body curled up. Her face was still somewhat pale, but she was much better than she had been in Dragon Valley.

Lu Mingfei, meanwhile, was being carried by the back of his collar in Dugu Bo's other hand, swaying through the air.

After racing for about two hours, a deep valley surrounded by towering cliffs finally appeared ahead.

Lu Mingfei was silent for a moment.

Then he abruptly stopped laughing. His withered right hand shot up, and as he opened his mouth, a dense jade-green glow surged forth from deep within his throat.

The glow grew brighter and brighter until it finally condensed into a thumb-sized jade-green bead, which Dugu Bo slowly spat out.

The bead was a lush, dripping green, with fine snake-scale patterns flowing across its surface.

Inside the bead, a ball of jade-green flame seemed to burn silently, emitting an eerie yet powerful fluctuation of spirit power.

Dugu Bo extended his left hand, and the jade-green bead slowly fell into his palm as if drawn by an invisible thread.

He lowered his head and glanced at the bead. A trace of barely perceptible pain flashed through his eyes, but it was quickly replaced by even stronger greed.

He took one step toward Lu Mingfei. His bony hand suddenly clamped down on Lu Mingfei's jaw, the force making Lu Mingfei's teeth crackle.

Then, without another word, Dugu Bo forcibly stuffed the jade-green bead into Lu Mingfei's mouth.

"Swallow it!"

Dugu Bo's voice was cold and impossible to defy. With his other hand, he pressed and pushed at the back of Lu Mingfei's neck, sending the bead sliding down his throat and into his stomach.

Lu Mingfei felt a warm sensation slide from his throat into his chest and abdomen.

When the bead reached his dantian, it sank slightly before transforming into a warm current that spread outward, slowly flowing through his limbs and bones.

That warm current carried a marvelous power. It loosened his meridians somewhat, and the circulation of his spirit power became smoother and more harmonious.

Not only did he feel no discomfort, but an indescribable sense of comfort welled up from deep within his body, nearly making him sigh aloud.

Dugu Bo released him and stepped back two paces, crossing his arms as he looked down from above at the frail youth on the stone bed.
