Background

Lu Dingtai was once an outer disciple of Azure Dragon Temple. Although he possessed exceptional aptitude for fist techniques, the sect's unfair treatment and neglect of capable outer disciples ultimately drove him away. He had reached the Fourth Realm by the time he departed. 170 285 296

Before settling in Cloudsky Commandery, he spent time in Yan Capital and became familiar with the capital's prominent martial factions. Despite not being an inner disciple, he possesses Azure Dragon Temple's true inherited Great Vajra Fist. 177

He later became the master of Dingtai Martial Hall. Meng Lei, his junior martial brother, entrusted Zhao Ya to him through a jade sect token before his death.
