On November 3rd, Senior Brother was completed. Though I was very reluctant to let it go.

While writing the ending, this author fell into a mood of not wanting to finish the book, and the updates became somewhat sluggish as a result.

I had wanted to write more little post-rain stories from the Primordial Wilderness for everyone, but for the sake of controlling the overall pacing, ending it here was best...

There were still too many other stories to write, and a long creative road yet to travel. Senior Brother was "my representative work at this stage," but it should not be "my only representative work."

This book of ours should count as a work with a fairly high degree of completion. The ideas and core it wanted to convey had also been expressed quite fully. It explored Daoist philosophy, the Materialist view, and dialectics, while making some imaginative extensions.
