The Centaurs' Backbone

The Centaur chieftain reared up on his front legs, took a deep breath, and then slammed down. It was a War Stomp, but instead of targeting an enemy, it was aimed at the Centaur troops behind him.

The ground trembled violently. The chieftain's strike covered the entire troop. The Centaurs were already running around in a panic, and with this violent tremor, they all stumbled and fell. Many Centaurs, unable to control their bodies, crashed hard into each other.

Marcus nodded thoughtfully, muttering, "They're still not giving up? The meteors are still falling!"

As if to coincide with Marcus's words, a five-meter diameter meteor plummeted directly towards the Centaur chieftain's position.

The Centaur chieftain looked up at the rapidly falling meteor. He didn't choose to dodge. With a mighty roar, he leaped up to meet it!

"Auric!" the Centaur chieftain continued to shout as he cleaved the meteor in half with his axe.

The five-meter diameter meteor was intercepted and shattered by the Centaur chieftain in mid-air. Although he was scratched by some fragments, he didn't mind in the slightest. Centaurs naturally had strong vitality, and as a legendary powerhouse, his vitality was particularly terrifying.

After shattering the meteor, the Centaur chieftain stared at Archmage Iltiran in the sky. He tossed his heavy axe aside and began to gather power, blue lightning erupting from his body.
