Background / History

Harrot was sold to Count Sarik’s Gladiatorial Arena for 50 gold coins, a price reflecting the arena’s expectation that his exceptional physique would make him a profitable fighter. The Bald Man’s favor secured him better food, treatment, and recovery time than ordinary slave gladiators received. 2

After the original Harrot died from a Death Curse and near-death coma, Harrot awakened with a System modeled after Mount & Blade. He immediately focused on compensating for the body’s poor agility and building a practical greatsword fighting style around its extraordinary natural strength. 3 4

He rose rapidly in the arena through sparring, System-assisted growth, and The Bald Man’s instruction. Harrot killed Rodri, defeated a wind-magic Magical Beast known as the “Hyena,” and survived fights against Ogres, becoming famous enough for the arena to market him as its “God of War.” 16 18 24 25

Marcus recruited Harrot after recognizing his potential. Harrot became Marcus’s chief Knight, received a share of Marcus’s bloodline power, and escaped Count Sarik’s influence with The Bald Man to join Marcus’s pioneering campaign. 29 32

Harrot was later killed by the Centaur Commander, but his unusually cohesive soul allowed him to reincarnate with his memories and System intact. He was reborn as the infant son of his previous incarnation and Sihrulu, retaining the name Harrot. 61 62

In his second life, Harrot deliberately pursued the best available System Growth Paths, trained from childhood, won arena tournaments, built a merchant guild, and expanded his personal territory. 61 77

After defeating Kuka, a High-Tier Winged Human, Harrot received the Sun’s Blessing and became a Heroic Noble. King Prague formally ennobled him as Baron Harrot of the Correndo Kingdom. 98 99 102

Appearance

Harrot is a heavily built greatsword fighter. In his first life, he stood roughly two meters tall; by age seventeen in his reincarnated life, he was slightly over 1.9 meters tall. 4 96

  • Exceptionally muscular, with strength far beyond ordinary humans from the beginning. 3 4
  • Wears heavy armor whenever practical, using Gravity Control to offset its weight. 99 172
  • Can transform into a giant up to seven meters tall through the Giant’s Bracer. 255
  • His Giant Transformation can be moderated to around four meters to preserve mobility and duration. 288

Personality

Harrot is ambitious, pragmatic, and intensely concerned with survival. His time as a gladiator taught him that strength determines freedom, but his original goal remained to live happily in place of the first Harrot, whose life had been marked by suffering. 11 71

He is highly adaptive in combat, willing to feign death, exploit wounds, alter his tactics, or retreat when a direct confrontation is unwinnable. He is also prone to overconfidence when new abilities or equipment make him feel invincible, a flaw exposed in his fight against Ainosen and in his clashes with Sunflower. 18 24 184 288

As a ruler, Harrot combines genuine concern for his people with self-interested calculation. He subsidizes childbirth, seeks population growth, develops trade, and plans to make the Sun Temple an institution focused on welfare and public order independent of royal authority. 102 110 383

Abilities & Skills

Mount & Blade System

Harrot’s System provides a character panel, level-based growth, allocatable attributes and skills, weapon proficiencies, equipment slots, inventory storage, quests, achievements, Growth Paths, and troop-related functions. 3 16 61 77

  • Defeat, combat, quests, and achievements can grant experience, attributes, skills, equipment, or special rewards. 11 16 61 99
  • His Inventory Management supports storage, transport, and trade of valuable goods. 3 77 80
  • His System allows him to recruit and develop System soldiers, including elite units and hero-template companions. 63 77 90

Greatsword Mastery

Harrot specializes in two-handed greatswords, combining enormous physical power with Weapon Mastery, Power Strike, Heavy Strike, and Light Strike. 4 7 13

  • Weapon Mastery improves his precision, stamina efficiency, and ability to chain greatsword attacks. 4 7
  • Power Strike provides a percentage-based boost to his offensive strength. 7 56
  • Heavy Strike and Light Strike let him alternate between forceful and flexible attack patterns. 13
  • His combat skill improves rapidly through observation and repeated practice. 11 74

Dragon Slaying Sword Art and Sword Qi

The Bald Man taught Harrot the Dragon Slaying Sword Art, which Harrot combined with the Sword Fighting Manual to unlock Dragon Slaying Sword Qi. 13 19 20

  • Releases a wave of sword qi from a greatsword swing. 20
  • Its power depends on Harrot’s overall attributes, combat skills, weapon mastery, and two-handed proficiency. 20
  • Consumes substantial stamina and energy, making repeated use difficult. 20
  • The skill’s long-range sword-qi effect appears unique to Harrot’s System-assisted development. 20 63

Marcus’s Fire Bloodline

Marcus’s shared bloodline power gave Harrot a group of fire-based extraordinary abilities. 29

  • Fire Resistance — grants immunity to ordinary flames. 29
  • Fire Absorption — absorbs flames and stores their energy. 29
  • Fire Enchantment — imbues attacks or weapons with fire. 29
  • Fire Release — releases stored fire energy offensively. 29

Heroic Bloodline: Gravity Control

Harrot awakened his own Heroic Bloodline after defeating Kuka and receiving the Sun’s Blessing. 98 99

  • Initially changes the mass and weight of himself, his weapons, or other targets. 99
  • Can increase a sword’s weight immediately before impact to amplify damage. 99
  • Can reduce his own weight to negate armor encumbrance and improve mobility. 99
  • Early activation requires several seconds and is difficult to use repeatedly during high-speed combat. 99 114
  • Later develops into directional gravity manipulation, allowing him to twist force vectors and hurl enemies away. 364 366
  • Has a control limit against targets exceeding his ability’s effective weight threshold. 364

Sun Divine Arts

A Sun Priest identifies Harrot as a potential Sun Priest and teaches him that Divine Arts draw on instinctive inner power rather than conventional magic. 193

  • Awakens an offensive flame-based Divine Art. 193
  • Uses Flames of Retribution against Cleon. 211
  • Uses Solar Flare Impact as a fast, Sun-powered offensive technique. 270 288
  • Can perform healing arts after further development and Sun Scepter use. 236 366

Giant Transformation

The Giant’s Bracer grants Harrot a transformation formed from Frost Giant power. 254 255

  • Raises his size to as much as seven meters and grants immense strength. 255
  • Raises his untransformed Strength to 180 when activated. 255
  • Can be controlled to a smaller form for greater agility and endurance. 288
  • Transformation lasts roughly five to eight minutes and consumes stamina. 255
  • Provides some cold resistance. 362

Magic

Harrot’s Elven heritage gives him the potential to use magic, though his talent is poor compared with dedicated mages. 41 105

  • Learns the basic Light Spell after two hours of meditation. 105
  • Has difficulty sensing and operating magic despite possessing the required soul strength. 41 105
  • Cannot cast legendary spells. 364
