Background

Vill-V was ostracized as a child because of her unusual hair color and initially lacked confidence. Moros comforted her, offered to become her friend, and began playing with her; the two subsequently became each other's closest companions in kindergarten. His companionship gradually eased her inferiority complex, though she remained comparatively introverted 4 7.

After Moros left Earth, his Ghosts and Vampires saved Vill-V from Number Zero's private soldiers in Y City. She recognized that Moros had been responsible, searched for him at his former residence, and vowed that they would meet again despite finding only ruins 16.

Vill-V's personalities later coordinated an investigation into Moros's activities in Fuyuan City through a private message board. She identified his Spectres from their distinctive methods and willingly waited in her workshop when his undead surrounded it, certain that she had finally found him 61 62 63.

Moros recognized Vill-V before his undead could harm her, halted the attack, and personally reunited with her. She accepted his invitation to enter his Graveyard City and trusted him with the secrets he had kept from her 63.

Appearance

Vill-V is a beautiful young woman with short, dual-colored hair and pink eyes. Her appearance changes with her work and persona, ranging from magician's formalwear to elegant gowns and steampunk-inspired research attire 63 79 104 330.

  • Short hair split between brownish-yellow and deep green 63 348
  • Pink, crystal-like eyes 63
  • Frequently wears costumes of her own design for performances and research 79 104 405
  • Often uses long gloves as part of her formal or scholarly attire 104 408

Personality

Vill-V is inventive, independent, and intensely curious. As the Grand Magician, she disregards local restrictions when pursuing a performance, routinely escaping police pursuits with preparation and skill 57 62. As an inventor, she is meticulous and habitually builds contingencies into her machines and systems 465.

Her eight personalities divide their time, interests, and responsibilities. They cooperate through a dedicated message board, sharing discoveries and requesting assistance; the original Vill-V can take control of the body at any time but usually allows the others freedom to act 61 62. This arrangement limits the Mysterious Scholar's magical training to roughly one day in eight 85 427.

Vill-V is deeply attached to Moros and consistently chooses to remain with him, even when offered opportunities elsewhere. She is also willing to challenge him, request a place beside him in dangerous situations, and pursue Necromancy to better understand and support him 106 151 299.
