After Claude casually lectured Benjamin a few more times, dinner ended, and Benjamin returned to his room.
What had happened at the dining table was only a minor interlude to him and would not have much impact on his life. Thus, he did not dwell on it. After closing his door, he lay on the bed and entered the Consciousness Space.
It felt like he had not properly cultivated magic in a long time.
Within the Consciousness Space, in the midst of darkness, two identical Triangle Glyphs floated more than twenty meters apart in midair, each blazing with dazzling blue light.
When he had first condensed the glyph for the Ice Shatter Spell, Benjamin had actually been quite delighted.
Before that, he had constantly worried that, after the second glyph appeared, their strengths might differ too greatly, rendering one of them useless. Fortunately, the appearance of the new glyph dispelled Benjamin's concerns.
The two glyphs were like each other's reflections in a mirror, identical in strength.
After giving it some thought, Benjamin decided to name them "Rune Water" and "Rune Ice" for ease of distinction. He had also wanted to call them something cooler, like "Rune: Water" and "Rune: Ice," but the system mocked him for being too cringe, so he had no choice but to drop it.
With the naming settled, Benjamin began a new experiment.
He began to meditate, mobilizing water elements and drawing them toward Rune Water. Very quickly, the water elements came into contact with Rune Water. It flashed faintly and, as usual, absorbed the water elements.
Yet at the same time, Rune Ice, more than twenty meters away, also flashed.
Seeing this, Benjamin nodded thoughtfully.
Just as he had expected! After checking the strengths of the two Triangle Glyphs once more, he confirmed his speculation.
