"Young Master, it's time for dinner. Master told me to call you downstairs."

He stood in the doorway as he spoke.

Benjamin turned around at that, nodded, and said, "Got it. I'll be right down."

Jeremy answered timidly, lowered his head, and left.

Benjamin could not help but smile and shake his head at the sight.

Ever since they had returned to the Riser Family this time, Jeremy had become even more timid. He barely dared look Benjamin in the eye and went around all day looking like he was burdened by guilt. He had already been like a mouse before, cowardly and spineless; now he had gone from bad to worse. Raise his voice even a little, and Jeremy would tremble in fright.
