Arc 1Garos Claims His Territory

Garos trained, gathered followers, and destroyed a goblin tribe that threatened his territory. He discovered that Black Oil could fuel his evolution, while Samantha began studying alchemy and Gordon remained captive in a caravan.

  • Garos traded ore to Laetitia for protection and food, then made Samantha and Gordon mine while he trained and explored the Sinkhole Territory.
  • Garos killed the Rock-Crushing Worm and other creatures, then began training against new threats as he sought a territory of his own.
  • Garos defeated the Earth Violent Bear, accepted Mobel’s submission, and received a dark gold Tail Ring from the Iron Dragon Mother before leaving her territory.

Arc 2Flight from Iron Fir Hills

Garos grew stronger, defeated adventurers and alchemical golems, and learned that the Worm King and a legendary item lay hidden in Malnes Dungeon. After the Black Rock Principality’s forces threatened his territory, he moved toward Conifer Valley and helped Mobel overthrow Chief Gor, leaving Mobel poised to rule the Dire Bears.

  • Garos captured Rock-Crushing Worms but failed to tame them because the Worm King destroyed their minds, then lured Deborah, a Copper Dragon, into an abandoned mine and stole her equipment after their fight.
  • Garos trained with Deborah’s alchemical gear, strengthened himself with refined Black Oil, and decided to postpone exploring Malnes Dungeon until he could defeat the Worm King.
  • A party of adventurers attacked Samantha, and Garos killed them before learning from the surviving Rogue about a map to Malnes Dungeon.
  • Garos evolved his Buffer Scales into Explosive Scales, but stopped receiving Black Oil when Earth-Splitting Centipede golems attacked him and destroyed Samantha’s workshop.

Garos strengthened himself, defeated the Cliff Serpent Dragon, and secured the Howling Moon Clan’s loyalty. He then used captured human merchants to seek supplies and began planning to control more intelligent monster clans near the Scale-Earth Rift Road.

  • Garos forced the Dire Bears to submit, then trained against their attacks and practiced toughening his vulnerable reproductive opening.
  • Garos encountered Vera, a Fairy Dragon, and made her use illusions and scale powder to support his mental and sensory training.
  • Garos scouted the Gray-Mane Werewolf territory, fought the Cliff Serpent Dragon, and withdrew after poisoning one of its tails.
  • After discovering the serpent’s tracking mark on himself, Garos returned to Crescent Moon Valley and killed the Cliff Serpent Dragon with help from the old Shaman.

Arc 4Dragon Lord Ascendant

Garos subdued the Red-Eye and Jawbone Clans, entered an early Dragon Sleep, and returned with powerful new abilities. After organizing the clans and securing Black Oil and Purple Copper Ore, he learned that the Stoneheart Giants were expanding into the region.

  • Garos defeated Deborah in the storm, took her treasure and Horn Ring, then moved against the Red-Eye Clan and forced Bloodfang and the Gnolls to submit after killing Rotclaw and the Gnoll Guards.
  • Garos felt Dragon Sleep approaching, returned to Conifer Valley, and entered a hidden crevice in the Steam Rift after preparing his wings with poisonous blood.
  • Karu won the Jawbone Clan’s succession contest by awakening the Gluttony Talent, while Garos emerged from Dragon Sleep with Celestial Comet Wings, Flame Claws, and Hardened Body.
  • Garos returned to Conifer Valley, learned the Jawbone Clan threatened the valley, then defeated its forces and forced Kalu and the Ogres to submit.
  • Garos visited Crescent Moon Valley, killed Mane Fire when he challenged Russell, and learned that the Howling Moon Clan had preserved its Black Oil and stayed in contact with Nick.
  • Garos used Black Oil to accelerate his wings, crashed into a cliff, discovered Purple Copper Ore, and ordered Frost Fang and Russell to mine it and reconnect with the Nick Caravan.
