Li Long put the fragment away and glanced up at him. "Then I'll head out for a bit."
"Where to?"
"Skywater City. I promised someone I'd visit when I had time."
Qian Shengyuan did not ask who it was. He simply waved a hand. "Go and come back soon. There's no need to rush becoming a god, but don't put it off too long, either."
Li Long acknowledged him, then turned and left the study.
He returned to the East Courtyard and quickly packed his things, tucked the Dragon Emperor Rod behind his waist in its short-rod form, and changed into a dark, close-fitting outfit. After leaving Spirit City through the eastern gate, he spread his wings and took to the sky, flying northeast toward Skywater City.
Skywater City was not particularly far away. At his current flying speed, he reached its outskirts in less than half a day.
He landed and entered the city on foot. Skywater City's architecture was entirely different from Spirit City's, with exterior walls predominantly blue and white. Water-attribute soul tool decorations lined the streets, and even the streetlamps were shaped like breaking waves.
Canals flowed along both sides of the main street, dividing the city into districts surrounded by water.
