Qian Shengyuan and Qian Yaoting were both there.

Qian Yaoting had remained near the treasured land, confirming that the poisonous beasts had not gathered again and that the light barrier at his side showed no abnormalities.

Qian Shengyuan stood in the center of the basin, his gaze sweeping over the distribution of the spiritual herbs. With his hands behind his back, he looked as though he were waiting for a result.

Li Long walked into the basin and sat cross-legged beside the Aromatic Silk Beauty.

He did not rush to pluck the seven-colored flower. Instead, he laid the Iron Rod across his knees, closed his eyes, and sank his consciousness into the rod.

He was going to see the Queen Medusa.

The space inside the Iron Rod was clearer than when he had entered it for the first time. Dark-golden light flowed faintly through the Soul Power channels.

Following the path he and Long Yuan had opened together, he ventured deeper inside until he reached the curled dark-golden spirit form at the core.

The Queen Medusa's spirit form was far more stable than it had been right after the sealing. Though it had not fully awakened, Li Long could sense a faint ripple deep within its consciousness, as if it knew someone had arrived.

Li Long's consciousness stopped before the spirit form.

He did not touch it with his Soul Power. He merely stood there quietly and said, "You can hear me. I know you're asleep right now, but your consciousness can perceive things outside."

The dark-golden spirit form stirred slightly. Its snake head lifted a little, and an amber vertical pupil slowly opened to a slit in the darkness before closing again.
