Qian Yaoting is the son of Spirit Hall Pope Qian Shengyuan and a member of the Qian Clan's Angel martial soul bloodline. Unlike Li Long, he grew up with high innate talent, a strong martial soul, family resources, and a smooth cultivation path. 34

He spent three years in seclusion on Angel God Mountain, rising from level 53 to level 60. Upon emerging, he learned that his father had accepted Li Long—an innate level-three Iron Rod soul master—as a personal disciple and appointed him Holy Son. Intrigued by Li Long's unprecedented soul-ring configuration, Qian Yaoting went to the Papal Palace to meet him. 34

Spar with Li Long

Qian Yaoting challenges Li Long in the East Courtyard. Though he initially offers to restrict himself to his first three soul skills, Li Long demands that he fight at full strength, and Qian Yaoting agrees to use all five of his available soul skills. 35

Li Long withstands Qian Yaoting's normal attacks, breaks his second and third soul skills, largely blocks Holy Light Storm, and ultimately interrupts Angel's Descent with a counterattack formed by stacking all three of his own soul skills.
