The Irritable King Slime

As Lin Yu ventured deeper, the Slimes he encountered along the way grew stronger and stronger. By now, most of the Slimes around him were already level five or six. Lin Yu estimated that he would soon reach the center of Slime Forest, where he would likely find King Slime!

"Roar..."

A somewhat irritable roar suddenly rang out. Lin Yu, who had been strolling leisurely, came to an abrupt halt.

Lin Yu frowned at the enormous Slime before silently using Inspect.

"King Slime (Abnormal Status), Level 19 (Level 9), Low Danger."

"Abnormal status? And what does that level mean?"

Lin Yu stared at the information he had obtained, utterly confused.

"Daddy, this King Slime's original level should have been level nine. Some kind of power temporarily raised it to level nineteen. That abnormal status was caused by that power. And from the looks of it, King Slime has already suffered a backlash from that power and fallen into a berserk state!"

9527 promptly explained it in Lin Yu's mind. After hearing this, Lin Yu fell into thought. It seemed that the secret realm had undergone some changes that even Banyan City No. 1 High School had failed to discover.

"Forget it. This is a good chance to get some practice. I haven't properly fought since awakening."

"Not bad, Fatty!"

Lin Yu only spoke after seeing that Zhu Fugui had killed the Slimes. Hearing Lin Yu's voice, Zhu Fugui reverted from that eye-searing transformation and said smugly, "Of course! They're just tiny Slimes. Taking care of them is easy!"
