Background / History

In his previous life, Lin Yu was an orphan raised by an orphanage director who taught him to perform daily good deeds. He gave half of his income to the orphanage after graduating from college, but was falsely accused after helping a fallen elderly person, lost his savings, and died after being struck by a car. 1

He awakened in the Freedom Era, 301 years after humanity's recovery, as a senior at Banyan City No. 1 High School. Unlike his former life, he gained a family—Lin Aiguo and Chen Shumin—and struggled to contain his emotions upon receiving the parental affection he had lacked for over twenty years. 3 7

After taking an Awakening Spirit Pill, Lin Yu naturally awakened before the official ritual and activated the Strongest Robbery System. Using a one-in-ten-million Legendary Robbery Token, he locked onto the Naruto World and stole Madara Uchiha's SSS-rank Rinnegan. 4 5

At the Awakening Ritual, the system drained the Awakening Stone monument's energy until it cracked and exploded. Personality

Lin Yu began his first life idealistic and charitable, but being exploited for helping another person left him cynical toward blind kindness. His transmigration gives him a second chance, and he chooses to seek strength openly rather than hide from danger or repeat the helplessness of his past. 1 28

Despite his ambition and occasional narcissism, Lin Yu remembers kindness shown to him. He values his parents, Zhu Fugui, Lin Yizhong, and Ji Xuejun, and repeatedly acts to protect others—such as absorbing a fireball at the arena and risking himself to save Ji Xuejun from Sikong Luohe. 9 22 42
