Old Chen didn't immediately try to dissuade Lin Yu. Instead, he narrowed his eyes and asked Ya'en, wanting to know what could interest Lin Yu so much.
"A godhead!"

Lin Yu and Ya'en spoke almost in unison. Old Chen and Huangfu Long's eyes instantly widened. They had never even heard of this godhead the two were talking about.
"To think the young master knows about godheads too!"
Ya'en couldn't hide his surprise. It also made him even more certain that Yama, the being behind Lin Yu, was a god. Otherwise, how could Lin Yu possibly know that godheads existed?
"What is a godhead?"

"A godhead is a god's foundation and source of power. You could say that everything about a god is concentrated within their godhead-their strength, their authority. Only those who possess a godhead qualify as gods!"
"I don't know anything more specific. I only learned this from reading the doctrines in the past!"
Ya'en took a deep breath and explained quietly.
"The Divine Pool draws its power from a godhead. As for which god it belongs to, I don't know either. But judging from what the doctrines say, I think it most likely belongs to one of the divine emissaries under the Eternal
