Yu Chen hurriedly replied, but before he could say anything more, the Sea Beast Mother had already begun to move slowly. Even the simplest movement of that enormous body stirred up fierce gales and terrifying torrents.

Seeing this, Daoist Kun Yuan sighed. "This is no longer an era that belongs to people like us. If you still refuse to change, all you can do is continue sleeping."

As he spoke, he flicked his whisk. Three thousand strands of whisk hair danced through the air, each containing immense divine power. Interweaving with one another, they directly manifested a vast world-sized illusion.

Within that illusion were the sun, moon, stars, wind, rain, thunder, lightning, clouds, mist, snow, and frost above; towering mountains, deserts, oases, glaciers, oceans, rivers, and lakes below; and the myriad acquired living beings dwelling between them.

The illusion descended like an entire heaven and earth pressing down, forcing nearly half of the Sea Beast Mother's body beneath the sea.

Then the stars glittered. Twelve planets revolved around a great sun in the void, each planet orbited by one to seven satellites. Within the planets were mountains and rivers, the countless forms of the mortal world. Every planet differed in size, the life growing upon them differed as well, and the civilizations they developed bore subtle distinctions.

Twelve planets, twelve ecosystems, twelve layers of civilization, forming the myriad phenomena of a heaven and earth.

Under the pressure of such an illusion, the Sea Beast Mother's body sank another portion into the sea. More than half of its enormous form was now submerged.

It raised its head, its long hair whipping in every direction, and opened its mouth.

"Woooooo..."

A sound like a whale's song shook the void, causing the two layers of illusions above to distort.
