Yu Chen's materials were, plainly put, divine artifacts looted from those three guards. Influenced by the illusory dragon shadow, the auras of the Jiao Snake Black-Scaled Armor, Fire Jiao Longbow, and Dragon Turtle Heavy Hammer began to blend together.
Yu Chen moved his fingers, altering the restrictions and patterns within them.
Gradually, two layers of restrictions within the longbow dissipated. The remaining twenty-eight layers underwent subtle changes as well. The fiery visage faded from the bow's surface, and some of its decorations fell away on their own along with the vanished restrictions.
Likewise, the heavy hammer shed its dragon-turtle visage. Many things resembling turtle shells fell off, and its entire form reassembled into a long saber.
Some of these shed components merged with Yu Chen's other materials, forming a jiao dragon mask.
Upon close inspection, it was fifty percent similar to the Evil Jiao Mask worn by the guard called Third.
His fingers continued to move, and the dragon shadow fused further into them. The serpentine nature within the various divine artifacts began to transform, merging with jiao nature.
As the jiao nature surged, the Dao principles, patterns, and restrictions within the artifacts changed accordingly.
The Jiao Snake scale armor stretched out, resembling a long headless serpent. The longbow scattered apart, becoming dorsal fins, sharp claws, and jiao veins that adhered to the scales. The long saber also disassembled, becoming a single horn and four limbs, while the mask became the jiao's head.
The four fused together, their internal restrictions and patterns connecting with one another. Most of the restrictions and patterns were broadly alike, differing only in minor details.
As the fusion deepened, the restrictions and patterns naturally changed and merged, becoming forty-one layers that jointly formed a fifth-grade middle-rank divine artifact resembling a jiao dragon ornament: the Black
