Background / History

Shi Hao was born in Stone Bridge Village as the son of a hunter. Before entering Hidden Dragon Martial Hall, he had no formal martial training; his physical foundation came from hunting with his father, carrying stones, and chopping firewood in the mountains. 3

He joined Hidden Dragon Martial Hall through its Lucky Plan, which recruited mountain youths without tuition. In three days, Shi Hao initiated the Coiling Dragon Stance Art—a result Qin Wuhe considered extraordinary for the hall’s superior foundational method. Qin personally assessed him, granted him one daily serving of Tiger-Bone Body-Strengthening Soup, and began teaching him fist techniques. 3

Qin Wuhe promised to accept Shi Hao as a true disciple once he became a martial artist. The promise, together with the admiration of his fellow villagers, rapidly changed Shi Hao’s bearing; he began to treat his former peers as people who could not keep pace with him. 4 8
