Background / History

Bronya was once a mercenary assassin known as the Ural Silver Wolf. During an assassination mission targeting Cocolia, she was captured and brought into Cocolia's orphanage, where she was adopted alongside other children affected by Honkai. 43

At the orphanage, Bronya became close to Seele. When Cocolia's experiments endangered Bronya, Seele offered herself as the test subject; the experiment failed, leaving Seele in a quantum state within the Quantum Sea. Bronya later entered the Quantum Sea voluntarily to find her, but Seele used her Stigmata and the Quantum Sea's power to create Heavy Tank Bunny 19C for Bronya and send her back. Bronya promised to rescue her. 43

The experiment left Bronya unable to move her legs and damaged her emotional circuits. Cocolia subsequently deceived her into believing that retrieving the Conqueror Gem would save Seele, while secretly using a bio-chip to control Bronya during the Third Honkai outbreak. 43

During the Great Honkai, Bronya reaches the vicinity of Senba Academy under Cocolia's orders and reports the disappearance of the Herrscher of Thunder signals. 8 9 She later attacks Qin Mo, Mei, and Kiana through the chip's control, deploying Heavy Tank Bunny and several mechs against them. 34 35

Qin Mo destroys Bronya's control chip with Ripple, and Mei restores her legs and emotional circuits with Crazy Diamond. Though initially suspicious of the group, Bronya joins them after Mei welcomes her and Qin Mo agrees to take her along. 35

After learning that Heavy Tank Bunny is connected to the Quantum Sea, Bronya makes rescuing Seele her central goal. She remains with Qin Mo's group to investigate dimensional travel and eventually negotiates directly with Qin Mo: she will help ease Theresa's suspicions in exchange for his future assistance in finding Seele. 36 48
