Background / History

Gu Yuena originated when the Asura God cleaved the Dragon God into the Gold Dragon King and Silver Dragon King. She escaped the Divine Realm immediately after the division, while the Gold Dragon King continued fighting and was subsequently sealed. Gu Yuena represents the Dragon God's wisdom 112 169.

For hundreds of thousands of years, she protected the soul beasts of the Star Dou Forest and was served by Di Tian. Her long-standing authority becomes central to her resentment when those followers begin recognizing Yun Feng as another sovereign 102 170.

Gu Yuena separated her human side into the avatar Na'er, who carried a portion of her power and the Silver Dragon Spear. Yun Feng possessed Na'er's body, overwhelmed its resistance, and eventually refined its Silver Dragon King origin completely. By the time Gu Yuena confronted her, the body could no longer be reclaimed 1 4 112.

Gu Yuena entered the Spirit Pagoda as an ordinary disciple while recovering her strength and pursuing her plans for the soul beasts. Without the Silver Dragon Spear, she displayed the Elemental Envoy Martial Soul; her initial standing gave her little authority or access to confidential Federation information 62 64.

Appearance

Gu Yuena's human form has silver-white hair, violet eyes, and a strikingly beautiful face resembling Yun Feng's appearance when using the Silver Dragon Spear 94 120 131.

  • Eyes: Described as bright violet and, during the train battle, silver-violet 94 147.
  • Skin: Snow-white; she can quickly remove minor marks from it using her power 139.
  • Dragonized features: Silver scale-like markings appear at the corners of her eyes, accompanied by dragon horns 120.
  • True form: An enormous silver dragon more than a thousand zhang long 169.

Personality

Gu Yuena is proud of her divine origin and her centuries-long position as a Soul Beast sovereign. She believes the Dragon God's wisdom qualifies her to become the dominant consciousness of a restored Dragon God. That pride also makes her reluctant to adopt mortal cultivation methods: she initially dismisses Soul Cores as techniques beneath an innate sacred being, even after seeing their effectiveness 112 117 121.

She is suspicious of humans and treats exceptional human talent as a potential threat. She suggests preventing Tang Wulin from reaching his potential and later questions why Yun Feng allows Dai Yun'er to live after learning her identity. Nevertheless, when the Dragon God Spear's tribulation descends, Gu Yuena instinctively carries Dai Yun'er away from danger 117 173.

Her attachment to her followers is stronger than she admits. She refuses to punish Di Tian and the others for recognizing Yun Feng, but rejects pity and later erupts over their abandonment. Her jealousy toward women close to Yun Feng similarly conflicts with her insistence that she does not care about romantic status 102 113 152 170.

Gu Yuena remains determined to preserve her own identity. Neither her shared origin with Yun Feng nor their physical intimacy persuades her to accept absorption or willing submission 112 139 169 171.

Abilities & Skills

Elemental Authority

Gu Yuena possesses innate authority over all elements; it does not depend on holding the Silver Dragon Spear. Yun Feng acknowledges that Gu Yuena is more skilled in elemental control 117 119.

  • Mobilizes earth, water, wind, fire, and other elements into large-scale attacks 119.
  • Fuses and separates elements to create a destructive storm while contesting an opponent's control 119.
  • Uses Elemental Cage: Strangulation to surround a target with layered, contracting crystal walls 119.
  • Forms seven-colored defensive barriers and elemental lotuses 120 170.
  • Condenses an Elemental Staff directly from her own power 119.
  • Her elemental authority does not guarantee victory: Yun Feng uses the Silver Dragon Spear to contest her control and break her cage 119 120.

Dragon Transformation and Suppression

Gu Yuena can manifest draconic features or return to her complete Silver Dragon King form 120 169.

  • Her dragonized release exceeds ordinary Titled Douluo power and reaches Super Douluo-equivalent strength 120.
  • Her aura exerts a powerful suppressive effect on soul beasts, noticed by Bai Xiuxiu 143.
  • Her physical strength is inferior to Yun Feng's Gold Dragon King strength 115.
  • After Yun Feng absorbs the Dragon God Origin, its nine-colored power forces Gu Yuena out of her true form 170.

Defensive Radiance

Gu Yuena uses silver radiance to shield herself and neutralize external force 120 147.

  • Covers her body with a silver film that largely excludes Yun Feng's Myriad Jun Heavenly Realm, though some movement restriction remains 120.
  • Dissolves the shock wave from an exploding Black-Grade Mecha while standing behind Yun Feng 147.
  • Prolonged attacks wear down her defenses and allow suppression to seep through 121.

Silver Dragon Phantoms

During her duel with Yun Feng, Gu Yuena imitates the method behind Yun Feng's golden dragon phantoms and creates a sea of silver counterparts 121.

  • The phantoms collide with opposing constructs and replenish themselves while she has Soul Power available 121.
  • Their sustained use contributes to her exhaustion; she cannot match Yun Feng's Soul Core-assisted endurance 121.

Spiritual and Spatial Perception

Gu Yuena can recognize divine auras and detect connections to her weapon and the Dragon Clan's micro-world 93 119 167.

  • Senses Soul Rings being added to the Silver Dragon Spear despite being far away, but cannot locate it 93 94.
  • Recognizes the Life Goddess's aura within Tang Wulin, though a protective force blocks deeper probing 118 119.
  • Detects the opening of the Dragon Domain Micro-World and preserves its spatial frequency for Di Tian to use 167.
  • Contacts Di Tian through spiritual power, but cannot communicate with him once the micro-world is sealed 167 173.
  • Cannot independently escape the space-time lockdown following Yun Feng's absorption of the Dragon God Origin 172.

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Silver Dragon Spear — Her divine weapon, originally entrusted to Na'er as a Martial Soul. Yun Feng acquires it through possession, prevents Gu Yuena from recalling it, and eventually fuses it with the Golden Dragon Spear to create the Dragon God Spear 4 112 173 174.
  • Elemental Staff — A substitute condensed from Gu Yuena's own power. She uses it against Yun Feng and shatters it during her dragonized release, absorbing its fragments as light 119 120.

Relationships

  • Yun Feng — Fellow incarnation of the Dragon God, rival for Soul Beast leadership, and intimate partner. Their physical relationship does not resolve their struggle over power, identity, or the Dragon God Origin. Yun Feng later forces her to kneel rather than absorbing her 112 139 169 171.
  • Na'er — Gu Yuena's human-nature avatar, not simply an alternate name for her current body. Yun Feng's possession permanently removes that avatar from her control; Gu Yuena nevertheless also uses “Na'er” as a personal name 1 112 118.
  • Di Tian — Long-serving subordinate. He conceals Yun Feng's possession of her avatar because he recognizes both Dragon Kings as sovereigns, but continues helping Gu Yuena maintain her Spirit Pagoda identity and reach the Dragon Domain Micro-World 102 167 175.
  • Leng Yaozhu — Her Spirit Pagoda teacher, who calls her Na'er and encourages her apparent friendship with Yun Feng without knowing the conflict behind it 111 114 115.
  • Tang Wulin — Initially regarded as a dangerous human genius and later considered a possible source of Gold Dragon King power. Gu Yuena learns that his loyalty to Yun Feng prevents her from readily obtaining that power 117 119 164.
  • Bi Ji — Former follower who explicitly chooses Yun Feng and refuses to reverse that decision. Her defection visibly affects Gu Yuena 102 112.
  • Bear Lord and Myriad Demon King — Long-standing followers whose interest in Yun Feng's benefits further weakens Gu Yuena's position 102 112 113.
  • Mountain Dragon King — Fellow survivor of the Dragon Clan's fall. His Dragon Soul supports Yun Feng's claim to the origin essence, stating that he does not know Gu Yuena well 169.
  • Dai Yun'er — Human companion of Yun Feng whose presence irritates Gu Yuena. Despite questioning why Yun Feng keeps her alive, Gu Yuena protects her from the artifact tribulation 173.

  • When Soul Rings are added to the Silver Dragon Spear, she realizes someone can use it and orders Di Tian to find that person without exposing her identity 93 94.

Bright Capital Confrontation

  • Leng Yaozhu introduces the two publicly. Gu Yuena then arranges a private gathering with the leading soul beasts outside Bright Capital 111.
  • Gu Yuena proposes merging into a new Dragon God with herself as its dominant consciousness. Yun Feng refuses, and Gu Yuena's attempt to reclaim the Silver Dragon Spear fails 112.

  • In the Dragon Tomb, she challenges Yun Feng for the origin essence and appeals unsuccessfully to the Mountain Dragon King for support 169.
  • Their battle exposes her accumulated resentment over losing her followers. Yun Feng gains the upper hand and swallows the Dragon God Origin, leaving Gu Yuena unable to resist its suppression 170.
  • Gu Yuena refuses submission verbally, but Yun Feng forces her to kneel. She remains a separate being rather than being devoured 171.
  • Yun Feng breaks the space-time confinement that Gu Yuena could not escape. Gu Yuena is then excluded from the world's core and witnesses the creation of the Dragon God Spear 172 173 174.
  • On returning to the Douluo Plane, she confirms that Di Tian has concealed her absence from the Spirit Pagoda. Yun Feng urges her to abandon the Myriad Beasts Platform in favor of developing the Dragon Domain Micro-World into a beast-race paradise 175.
