Background and History

Ye Guyi is Ye Suyi’s twin sister and was initially one of the Douluo II members of the All-Heavens Goddesses Chat Group. She was four years older than Huo Yuhao and joined the group’s first encounter with Fu Xi after challenging him in the virtual arena. Believing him to be an ordinary child, she approached him casually and was immediately sent flying; her subsequent attempt to fight seriously ended when Fu Xi shattered her greatsword and defeated her. She surrendered the match, humiliated and angry. 2 3

Despite their hostile introduction, Ye Guyi later offered to teach Fu Xi how to read, explaining that she wanted him to learn enough not to be taken advantage of. 6 During the tournament mission in the Douluo I world, she served on Spirit Team alongside Fu Xi, Ye Suyi, and Qian Renxue. 11 13
