Background / History

Xuan awakens after being sealed for a thousand years beneath a ruined underground temple during the Fourth Shinobi World War. His body is decayed, his right eye socket is initially hollow and bleeding, and he possesses only a weak Two-Tomoe Sharingan after surviving Uchiha Kanku’s attack. His modern soul and the Myriad Phenomena Devouring System become his means of survival. 1 2

Rather than join the Allied Shinobi Forces or oppose Akatsuki, Xuan chooses to exploit the war as a source of chakra, bloodlines, souls, intelligence, and techniques. He devours White Zetsu scouts, enemy shinobi, and Impure World Reincarnation bodies while using disguises, forged reports, and false trails to avoid detection. 2 6 7 11
