Once everyone had chosen the firearms they wanted to use, the differences between them became extremely obvious.
Sherlock had chosen a Benelli M2 Tactical Shotgun with an extended magazine tube as his primary weapon, loaded with a mix of buckshot and birdshot. His secondary weapon was an AK-47 chambered in 7.62mm, loaded with steel-core armor-piercing rounds.
Sherlock's main purpose in carrying these firearms, as mentioned before, was self-defense. Accordingly, he took a large quantity of shotgun shells, but only two magazines' worth of ammunition for the AK-47 before stopping.
With this combination of weapons, Sherlock could handle both large and small animals with ease. It could be called the most comprehensive loadout of them all.
John Wick's choices were completely different from Sherlock's. Confident in his own marksmanship, he chose an ordinary AR rifle paired with a Glock pistol. Using the pistol as his primary weapon and the rifle as a secondary weapon for dealing with large animals was more than sufficient.
Hawkeye, meanwhile, chose the only sniper rifle among them: an M24 bolt-action rifle, along with its specialized sniper ammunition. Its power went without saying. With the addition of a small handgun, Hawkeye's weapon loadout was complete.
