Worth mentioning, compared to China, the United States had plenty of things that would seem utterly incomprehensible to Chinese people. Things like their bizarre property tax, regulations banning people from keeping more than five chickens in their yards, rainwater taxes, and other nonsense.

But there was one thing China could never hope to match the United States in, and that was the legendary American fast-food culture that had originated here.

Even after living two lives, this was Sherlock's first time seeing a pizza as big as a trash can lid!

Never mind how it tasted, and never mind the quality of the ingredients. At the very least, this thing was genuinely huge, and it really filled you up!

Sherlock sat alone, holding a pizza he had rolled up like a wrap in one hand and mercilessly attacking it. Meanwhile, Tony and Pepper could only share a single pizza between them despite facing pizzas as large as trash can lids.

They did not even finish that one pizza between the two of them. All they could do was sit there dumbfounded as they watched Sherlock make a grand spectacle of devouring two trash-can-lid-sized pizzas.

After all, although the Philosopher's Stone had helped Sherlock reinforce his body during his fight with Obadiah, it could not completely erase his physical exhaustion. His voracious eating was merely his way of replenishing his depleted body with the pizza's high calories.

But to Pepper and Tony, that was not how it looked at all.

In Pepper's eyes, Sherlock was celebrating. He was venting. So although his table manners could only be described as atrocious, Pepper's gaze toward him became increasingly affectionate and sympathetic.
