Background / History

Xiao Xiao entered Shrek Academy as an eleven-year-old prodigy with level 22 Soul Power. Initially, only her Three Lives Soul Suppressing Cauldron was publicly known. She quickly befriended Yuwen Tuo after approaching him because she found him attractive, then offered to protect him and partner with him in the New Student Assessment 13.

Before the assessment, she privately revealed her second Martial Soul, the Nine Phoenix Dancing Flute, to help Yuwen Tuo. She had already attached one soul ring to it in hopes of gaining the academy’s attention; Yan Shaozhe later reprimanded her for prematurely using a ring slot meant for a Twin Martial Soul’s later development 17 35.

Xiao Xiao and Yuwen Tuo jointly deceived Yan Shaozhe by presenting her as the supposed “friend” with Twin Martial Souls. Although she could have claimed resources for herself, she stated that she only wanted to help Yuwen Tuo 34 35. After learning the Meng Chun Six Melodies, she formally became a Ghost Valley disciple through Yuwen Tuo’s acceptance on behalf of Dugu Ningke 47.
