Background / History

Zhou An transmigrates into the Great Chu dynasty and awakens as a poor constable in a world threatened by anomalies. With no inherited wealth or conventional special ability, he chooses to survive by steadily improving every life skill he can acquire. He lives with his demanding aunt and maintains a close friendship with fellow constable Yu Hang, who studies for the imperial examination. 1

His growth begins with mundane work: cooking, knife practice, movement drills, juggling objects, reading, blacksmithing, medicine, and water control.
