You're Not Ready to Learn Haki Yet

Rayleigh took Junichi to purchase supplies for their voyage.

Junichi boarded the small boat, and under Rayleigh's command, they left the Sabaody Archipelago.

They arrived at an uninhabited island.

A dormant volcano sat on the island. Its geothermal heat and volcanic rock provided abundant nutrients.

As a result, the island's ecosystem was especially thriving.

"This is where you'll be training for the next six months." Rayleigh pointed at the island.

Junichi looked it over and nodded slowly.

It looked a little like the island where Luffy trained in the original story.

Rayleigh pushed up his glasses, his gaze turning sharp as he asked, "You want to learn Haki?"

"Yes." Junichi nodded seriously.

Rayleigh shook his head, his tone stern. "With your current physical condition, you're nowhere near ready to develop Haki. Forcing yourself to learn it will only damage your body!"

Junichi fell silent.

"I can sense how impatient you are." Rayleigh sighed, his tone softening. "Though I don't know why."

"But training cannot be rushed."

"No one can defy the rule of progressing step by step!"

Junichi remained calmly silent.

Under normal circumstances, Rayleigh was completely right.

But the problem was.

He was not normal.

Weasel's threat forced him to improve his strength urgently.

Rayleigh felt that even if he went blind, he would never mistake Uchiha Clan Junichi for a genius.

Junichi was not angry in the slightest and continued smiling.

Junichi suddenly opened his eyes. Fierce emotions surged within them, as though something was about to erupt.

He threw a punch, unleashing all the strength in his body.

It was as if the power hidden within him erupted along with that punch.

Smack!

His fist struck the bark.

But it produced only a faint, insignificant sound.

"Hiss!"

Junichi sucked in a breath and withdrew his burning, aching fist.

Even his skin had turned red and swollen.

He could not feel even a trace of Armament Haki.

However, the system panel faithfully displayed a notification.

[You trained Armament Haki once. Proficiency +1]
