After receiving the Thunder-Prison inheritance, Chen Lingxi discovered that Weiji Grotto-Heaven contained four Immortal Pivots and set out to investigate the storm pivot.

• Chen Lingxi hunted descended cultivators across the Cave Heaven, then used the Immortal Ranking’s spiritual essence to strengthen his cultivation and meet Emperor Daye.
• Chen Lingxi used Emperor Daye’s Golden Finger Bone to escape Bai Lingze, then killed ranked cultivators including Bai Huzhong and Qiu Yue to claim their spiritual opportunities.

Chen Lingxi reached the Dao Foundation Realm, defeated Bai Lingze and the Golden-Crowned Demon Lord, and joined Emperor Daye in summoning Great Sage Luo Yuan. The Great Sage’s return began consuming the Weiji Grotto-Heaven, and Chen Lingxi’s body and cultivation collapsed as the Cave Heaven crumbled.

• Chen Lingxi cultivated in the Storm Immortal Pivot, found the Void-Return Sword Tower and Abyssal Heaven Spirit Sword, and survived ambushes by Liu Chengfeng, Bai Lingze, and Zhao Duanxuan.

After killing Zhuo Jiaowu and being appointed a chief disciple, Chen Lingxi planned to leave the Dragon-Offering Sect once he had settled the peak’s disciples.

• Chen Lingxi arranged with Emperor Daye Ying Xian to place his souls and spirits in the Spirit-Placement Treasure Mirror, then pursued the Cauldron Vessel and defeated Liu Chengfeng, Bai Lingze, and Yu Jiangwei.
• As the True Lord burned Weiji Grotto-Heaven, Emperor Daye Ying Xian activated the four Immortal Pivots, and Great Sage Luo Yuan emerged from the Long River to confront the True Lord.
