Such a terrifying and mysterious forbidden land was not somewhere the living could enter.
That so many accounts of Reincarnation had been passed down to the present was, in truth, inseparable from that great upheaval in Nine-Nether.
Before that upheaval, when the Six Paths flourished, Daoist lineages across the vast and boundless cultivation world of Nine Heavens rose and fell in turn.
What a lively spectacle it had been.
Yet even in those times, after the Age of the Heavenly Gods had already drawn to a close, no tales of Reincarnation had spread.
It was only after that upheaval that terms later cultivators heard—Reincarnation, Nine-Nether, Yellow Springs, Netherworld, and all else connected to the path of Reincarnation—had largely been passed down from that era.
Among them, one widely circulated account was that of the Nine-Nether Yellow Springs River.
Even the Yellow Springs of Wrongful Death, whose Demonic Path lineage in the Four Lands had endured through the ages—the words "Yellow Springs" within its name were known to anyone with some understanding. The River of Wrongful Death within Yellow Springs of Wrongful Death had originally been a treasure river refined by an ancient Devil Master in imitation of Nine-Nether Yellow Springs.
However, that Devil Master had never truly seen the Nine-Nether Yellow Springs River. Thus, the river he refined became merely a River of Wrongful Death. Though it bore some superficial resemblance to the Reincarnation Yellow Springs River, its essence remained the path of Demonic Path cultivation.
It did not have much to do with Reincarnation.
Yet although the original River of Wrongful Death had been so, after several eras of refinement and nurturing by generations of Demonic Path powerhouses, it had truly become the standard Demonic Path Supreme Treasure
