During a cave exploration with Xiao Le, her attention is drawn to the Seven-Colored Poison Scripture, which becomes central to her study of poison arts. She rejects Hu Wei’s pursuit and leaves with Xiao Le, who offers to protect her from him 37 38 48.

While living in the valley, she nurses Xiao Le through his injuries and helps him treat Yun Yun. Her study of the Poison Scripture becomes increasingly troubling when she notices a seven-colored poison line extending from below her navel. After she begins taking poison, she fears Xiao Le will despise her, reflecting the Jia Ma Empire’s hostility toward poison masters.
