Ch. 101Hong Jun Placed His Pieces

After the Witch Clan’s Divine Dao System earned the Great Dao’s recognition, Hong Jun weighed its threat to his authority and devised a plan to contain it by balancing rival powers. He resumed his sermon while the cultivators in Zixiao Palace returned to listening with new suspicions and calculations.

  • Jieyin and Zhunti praised the Witch Clan’s Divine Dao System and discussed its benefits to the Primordial World.
  • Hong Jun recognized that the Divine Dao System could strengthen the Witch Clan and challenge his role in completing the Heavenly Dao.
  • Hong Jun decided to support Di Jun and Taiyi by offering Di Jun a strand of Primordial Violet Qi and hinting that Taiyi might earn one later.
  • Hong Jun planned to give the King Father of the East official standing so he could unite independent cultivators and counterbalance the Demon Clan.
  • Hong Jun resumed his sermon, while the cultivators listened with divided attention and growing wariness of the Witch Clan.

Ch. 102The Witch Clan Takes Action

After the Great Dao oath established the Divine Dao System, Pan Xuan and the Twelve Ancestral Witches planned to put it into practice by appointing Mountain Gods across the Primordial World. They divided the work and prepared to reconvene in a thousand years, while Pan Xuan summoned Sun to go with him to Shouyang Mountain.

  • Pan Xuan explained the qualifications for Mountain Gods and said that Ancestral Witches had to guard the Five Great Mountains.
  • Houtu volunteered the Ancestral Witches for the Five Great Mountains, and Di Jiang assigned Zhu Jiuyin, Houtu, Zhu Rong, Gong Gong, and himself to guard them.
  • Pan Xuan said he would take Sun to Shouyang Mountain, whose ultimate yang energy suited Sun and whose future importance he kept secret.
  • Di Jiang ordered the Twelve Ancestral Witches to lead Great Witches across the Primordial World to test candidates and regroup at Pangu Hall in a thousand years.
  • Pan Xuan sent a message to the Southern Foothills camp, summoning Sun.

Ch. 103The Mountain God of Shouyang Mountain

Pan Xuan brought Sun to Shouyang Mountain so he could become its Mountain God and cultivate through its pure yang energy. Sun successfully resonated with the mountain and accepted his new duties, while Pan Xuan assured him that the Star Tribe would be cared for and that Mountain Gods would eventually communicate through the Divine Dao network.

  • Pan Xuan chose Sun to serve as Shouyang Mountain’s Mountain God and explained that its gentle yang energy could temper Sun’s fierce Solar True Fire.
  • Pan Xuan and Sun traveled from Mount Buzhou to Shouyang Mountain, where Sun sensed the mountain’s kinship with the Sun Star.
  • Sun meditated for seven days, united his Sun Origin with Shouyang Mountain’s mountain soul, and was acknowledged as its Mountain God.
  • Sun’s authority over Shouyang Mountain’s energy and laws strengthened, and his cultivation showed signs of advancing toward the late stage of the Daluo Golden Immortal realm.
  • Pan Xuan instructed Sun to regulate the earth veins, harmonize spiritual energy, suppress evil entities, and protect local life; he also told Sun that Taiyin and Ziwei were overseeing the Star Tribe.

Ch. 104The Five Great Mountains Set the Foundation

Pan Xuan established Sun at Shouyang Mountain and returned to Mount Buzhou while the Twelve Ancestral Witches appointed Great Witches as Mountain Gods across the Primordial World. Houtu and Zhu Rong gained the positions at Mount Tai and Mount Heng, as the chapter left the remaining Five Great Mountains still to be settled.

  • Pan Xuan designated a residence for Sun on Shouyang Mountain, established a message-transmitting ward linked to the Star Seal, and confirmed that the Kongtong Seal remained undisturbed as it gestated.

  • Houtu guided Jiu Feng to Wuyi Mountain, where Jiu Feng gained the mountain soul's recognition and became its Mountain God.

  • The Twelve tribes agreed to send tens of thousands of clanspeople to the divine mountains, completing the Divine Dao System’s first round of expansion.

  • Pan Xuan completed the investitures and put away the Star Seal.

Ch. 107The Plan to Win Over the Three Clans

Pan Xuan explained how the Divine Dao Network was protected and proposed expanding the Divine Dao System from the mountains to the world’s waters. The Twelve Ancestral Witches agreed to seek the Dragon, Qilin, and Phoenix Clans as allies, leaving the plan ready for them to recruit the three clans.

  • Pan Xuan explained that the Star Seal, the Twenty-Four-Grade Creation Green Lotus, and Pangu Hall’s fortune protected the Divine Dao Network.

Ch. 108Negotiating Terms, Splitting Up

Pan Xuan and the Ancestral Witches planned to recruit the Dragon, Qilin, and Phoenix Clans into the Divine Dao System, assigning envoys to negotiate with each clan. Zhu Jiuyin divined that the Dragon Clan would be receptive, the Qilin Clan would need patience, and the proud Phoenix Clan would require respectful handling, so the envoys prepared to depart before Hong Jun’s third lecture ended.

  • Pan Xuan proposed offering the Dragon Clan Water God positions, the Qilin Clan Mountain God positions, and the Phoenix Clan roles connected to fire, wind, and the Divine Dao System.
  • Pan Xuan assigned himself and Gong Gong to negotiate with the Dragon Clan, Houtu and Di Jiang to approach the Qilin Clan, and Zhu Rong, Tianwu, and Zhu Jiuyin to visit the Phoenix Clan.
  • The remaining Ancestral Witches were told to stay at Mount Buzhou, spread the Divine Dao, and fill vacant Mountain God positions.
  • At Pan Xuan’s request, Zhu Jiuyin divined the three clans’ attitudes and found the Dragon Clan eager for Water God offices, the Qilin Clan potentially receptive but wary, and the Phoenix Clan proud and in need of respect.
  • Pan Xuan urged everyone to prepare and depart at once, before the mighty beings returned from Hong Jun’s third lecture.

Ch. 109The rightful gods of the Three Immortal Islands, Pan Xuan's plan

Pan Xuan and Gong Gong traveled to the Three Immortal Islands to recruit the Dragon Clan into the Divine Dao as Water Gods and River Earls. Pan Xuan devised a way to show Ancestral Dragon the system’s power by investing Xing Tian, Hou Yi, and Kuafu as island gods before negotiating with him.

Ch. 110An Open Stratagem Hard to Refuse

Pan Xuan demonstrated that the Heavenly Dao recognized the Divine Dao System by granting law deities to Xing Tian, Hou Yi, and Kuafu. Ancestral Dragon recognized the advantage this offered the Dragon Clan and sent Ao Yuan to invite Pan Xuan to the East Sea Dragon Palace for talks.

  • Pan Xuan used the Star Seal to summon Heavenly Dao law deities for Xing Tian, Hou Yi, and Kuafu, strengthening their authority and the Three Immortal Islands' defenses.
  • Ancestral Dragon witnessed the law deities and understood that joining the Divine Dao could help the Dragon Clan reduce its Heavenly Dao karmic force and gain greater access to the laws.
  • Ancestral Dragon decided to negotiate with Pan Xuan and ordered Ao Yuan to invite him to the East Sea Dragon Palace, emphasizing that he should be courteous.
  • Ao Yuan set off for the Three Immortal Islands and reflected that Ancestral Dragon had been right to avoid conflict with the Witch Clan.

Ch. 111The Dragon Clan Joined

Pan Xuan and Gong Gong negotiated with the Ancestral Dragon to bring the Dragon Clan into the Divine Dao System as Water Gods and River Earls. The framework was settled, and Pan Xuan promised to return to invest the Four Seas Dragon Kings.

Ch. 113Hong Jun's Scheme, Di Jun Obtains the Purple Qi

Hong Jun accepted six disciples and bestowed the six strands of Primordial Violet Qi along with powerful treasures. After giving Di Jun a strand of Purple Qi and urging him to establish order over the demons, he set him on the path to attaining the Dao.

  • Hong Jun accepted Taiqing Laozi, Yuqing Yuanshi, Shangqing Tongtian, and Nuwa as direct disciples and bestowed a strand of Primordial Violet Qi and treasures on each.
  • Hong Jun accepted Jieyin and Zhunti as nominal disciples and gave each a strand of Primordial Violet Qi and a treasure.
  • The six strands of Primordial Violet Qi were distributed, leaving the other mighty beings without a chance to attain Sagehood through them.
  • Hong Jun called Di Jun before him and told him to establish a power, rule over the myriad demons, and create laws for the Primordial World.
  • Hong Jun bestowed a strand of Primordial Violet Qi on Di Jun, whose Golden Solar True Fire surged and formed the phantom of a Three-legged Golden Crow.

Ch. 114The Investiture of the Gods List and the Great Powers' Attitudes

Hong Jun gave Di Jun the Investiture of the Gods List and appointed King Father of the East and West Queen Mother to lead unaffiliated immortals, setting up forces to balance the Witch Clan and Heavenly Court. He then united his body with the Dao, completing the Heavenly Dao before vanishing into its rules.

  • Hong Jun bestowed the Investiture of the Gods List and a Primordial Violet Qi on Di Jun, who accepted the treasure and resolved to establish the Heavenly Court.
  • The great powers recognized that the list could resurrect spirits but also bind their lives to its holder, and they grew wary of Di Jun's ambitions.
  • Hong Jun appointed King Father of the East and West Queen Mother as leaders of male and female immortals, giving them spiritual treasures and authority over unaffiliated cultivators.
  • Di Jun understood Hong Jun's appointments as a plan to balance the Witch Clan, the Heavenly Court, and unaffiliated cultivators.
  • Hong Jun announced that he would unite his body with the Dao, then vanished into the Heavenly Dao as its incompleteness was repaired.

Ch. 115Changes in the West, Jieyin and Zhunti's Gratitude

After Hong Jun distributed spiritual treasures and gave Di Jun the Investiture of the Gods List, Jieyin and Zhunti decided to warn the Witch Clan because they had repaired the West’s earth veins. They traveled from Mount Sumeru to Mount Buzhou and requested an audience with Pan Xuan and the Ancestral Witches.

  • Hong Jun opened Zixiao Palace to the chaotic void, and the mighty cultivators rushed to collect spiritual treasures.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti discussed how Di Jun’s Investiture of the Gods List could set him against the Witch Clan, and agreed to warn them.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti returned to Mount Sumeru, inventoried their treasures, and set out for Mount Buzhou.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti admired the orderly spiritual veins around Mount Buzhou and stopped outside the mountain to avoid provoking the Witch Clan’s defenses.
  • Jieyin called into Mount Buzhou and requested an audience with Pan Xuan and the Ancestral Witches.

Ch. 116The Witch Clan's reserves, Jieyin and Zhunti's shock

Pan Xuan welcomed Jieyin and Zhunti to Mount Buzhou and brought them into Pangu Hall, where they were received by the Twelve Ancestral Witches. Seeing the Witch Clan’s treasures and tasting tea from the Enlightenment Tea Tree, the visitors were shocked by the clan’s reserves and moved by the trust shown to them.

  • The Twelve Ancestral Witches agreed that Pan Xuan should greet Jieyin and Zhunti, who had arrived soon after the lectures at Zixiao Palace ended.
  • Pan Xuan welcomed Jieyin and Zhunti, explained that he had become Mount Buzhou’s Mountain God, and invited them into Pangu Hall.

Jieyin and Zhunti warned Pan Xuan and the Twelve Ancestral Witches that Hong Jun had empowered Di Jun and appointed the King Father of the East and the West Queen Mother to rally forces against the Witch Clan's Divine Dao. Pan Xuan remained composed, defended the Divine Dao's purpose, and offered the Western lands its help as Jieyin and Zhunti departed.

  • Jieyin and Zhunti told Pan Xuan that Hong Jun had given Di Jun primordial violet qi and the Investiture of the Gods List, and appointed the King Father of the East and the West Queen Mother to oversee unaffiliated cultivators.
  • Zhu Rong, Gong Gong, Xuan Ming, Houtu, Zhu Jiuyin, and Di Jiang discussed how Hong Jun's appointments could unite the Demon Clan and unaffiliated cultivators against the Witch Clan's Divine Dao.

  • Pan Xuan thanked Jieyin and Zhunti for their warning and offered the Divine Dao's assistance to the West if it was needed.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti accepted Pan Xuan's offer, exchanged farewells with him, and left.

Ch. 118A Way to Restrain Hong Jun

Pan Xuan explained that Hong Jun’s gifts to Di Jun and the East and West Queen Mother threatened the Witch Clan, so they had to act before Hong Jun’s influence over the Heavenly Dao grew further. He proposed using the Twelve Ancestral Witches’ Law Deities and the Dutian Divine Fiends Grand Formation to summon Pangu’s phantom within the Heavenly Dao and restrain Hong Jun, and Di Jiang agreed.

  • Pan Xuan returned to Pangu Hall and warned the Twelve Ancestral Witches that Hong Jun’s gifts would strengthen the Demon Clan and gather unaffiliated cultivators against them.
  • Pan Xuan urged the Witch Clan to strike at Hong Jun by using their Law Deities to counterbalance his will within the Heavenly Dao.
  • Pan Xuan explained that the Dutian Divine Fiends Grand Formation could summon Pangu’s phantom, whose primal aura would curb Hong Jun’s expansion.
  • Zhu Rong, Gong Gong, and Xuan Ming accepted the cost of temporarily losing their Law Deities, while Houtu asked how likely the plan was to succeed.
  • Pan Xuan estimated an eighty percent chance of restraining Hong Jun, and Di Jiang agreed that holding him back would be enough for the Witch Clan to handle the Primordial World’s affairs.

Ch. 119Heavenly Dao Space

Pan Xuan sent the Twelve Ancestral Witches’ law deities into Heavenly Dao space to summon the Pangu Phantom and counter Hong Jun, while he prepared to bring the Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin Clans into the Divine Dao. The law deities entered the Heavenly Dao and took their positions in the formation, surprising Hong Jun as he failed to stop them.

  • Pan Xuan proposed sending the Twelve Ancestral Witches’ law deities into the Heavenly Dao while he formally invested the Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin Clans with divine offices.
  • The Twelve Ancestral Witches formed the Dutian Divine Fiends Grand Formation outside Pangu Hall and sent their law deities toward Heavenly Dao space.

  • The twelve law deities took their assigned positions in the Dutian Divine Fiends Grand Formation within Heavenly Dao space.

Ch. 120Pangu Phantom vs. Hong Jun in Unity with the Dao

  • The Twelve Ancestral Witches used their Law Deities to summon the Pangu Phantom, whose aura blocked Hong Jun from expanding beyond the Heavenly Dao’s core.
  • Hong Jun tried to resist with the Fragment of the Jade Plate of Creation, but the two forces settled into a stalemate without disrupting the Heavenly Dao’s basic functions.
  • Hong Jun planned to rely on Di Jun attaining Sagehood to exploit the resulting upheaval and break through the Pangu Phantom’s blockade.
  • The Twelve Ancestral Witches withdrew their power, leaving their Law Deities inside the Heavenly Dao to sustain the formation restraining Hong Jun.
  • Pan Xuan told Di Jiang he would visit the Dragon, Qilin, and Phoenix Clans to formally bring them into the Divine Dao, and Di Jiang agreed to guard Mount Buzhou.
  • Pan Xuan reassured Houtu and Zhu Rong that he would honor the terms agreed with Yuanfeng, then departed Mount Buzhou for the southeast.
