Arc 6Divine Dao and Heavenly Court

Pan Xuan expanded the Divine Dao by bringing the Qilin, Phoenix, and Minghe into its ranks, while the Witch Clan built ways to refine fiend qi and strengthen its people. The Heavenly Court rose under Di Jun, and Pan Xuan’s effort to approach the Three Pure Ones ended with a suspected Heavenly Dao influence on their relations still unproven.

  • Pan Xuan appointed Primordial Qilin and the Qilin Clan to oversee Mountain Gods, then flew to the Undying Volcano as Di Jun, Taiyi, and Kunpeng sought Yuanfeng’s support.
  • Di Jun, Taiyi, and Kunpeng attacked Pan Xuan at the volcano, but Azure Luan, Fire Phoenix, and the Twelve Ancestral Witches helped drive them away, and Yuanfeng then joined the Divine Dao as God of the Sky.
  • The Dragon, Qilin, and Phoenix imprints transformed the Star Seal into an innate supreme treasure, and Pan Xuan urged the Ancestral Witches to strengthen the Divine Dao rather than pursue the retreating Heavenly Court forces.
  • Pan Xuan brought Minghe into the Divine Dao as God of the Blood Sea, securing his cooperation in purifying the Blood Sea’s turbid baleful qi and tainted blood.
  • Di Jun established the Demon Clan and Heavenly Court, while Pan Xuan persuaded the Ancestral Witches to avoid an immediate war and build their strength instead.
  • Pan Xuan and the Ancestral Witches established the Circumference Heavenly Cycle Purification Grand Array, then set up cultivation secret realms supplied with refined fiend qi and time-acceleration arrays.
  • Houtu remained in the Blood Sea to contemplate the emerging Six Paths of Reincarnation, while Pan Xuan established Netherworld Cave for her and prepared to find a substitute for her eventual transformation.
  • Pan Xuan persuaded Di Jiang to approach the Three Pure Ones, and their meeting at Kunlun Mountain revealed unexplained hostility that Pan Xuan suspected had been induced through the Heavenly Dao.
Chapters 126–150 Vol. 2 Read

Ch. 126Mountain God Inspector

Pan Xuan welcomed the Qilin Clan into the Divine Dao and appointed Primordial Qilin as Mountain God Inspector, giving the clan authority to supervise Mountain Gods throughout the Primordial World. The Qilin Clan accepted the responsibility and pledged impartial inspections as it began to emerge from seclusion.

  • Primordial Qilin gathered several hundred Qilin clansfolk at Qilin Cliff to await Pan Xuan.
  • Pan Xuan used the Star Divine Dao Seal to appoint Primordial Qilin as Mountain God Inspector, with authority to assess and supervise Mountain Gods.
  • Primordial Qilin accepted the appointment and told the Qilin Clan to inspect Mountain Gods fairly and protect the mountains and forests.
  • Pan Xuan appointed the remaining Qilin as Mountain Gods or assistants in the inspection system, and the Qilin imprint appeared on the Star Divine Dao Seal.
  • Primordial Qilin promised that the Qilin Clan would investigate Mountain Gods equally regardless of their clan, and Pan Xuan affirmed that the Divine Dao depended on all clans working together.

Ch. 127Demon Master Kunpeng, vying for the Phoenix Clan

Pan Xuan left Qilin Cliff for the Undying Volcano after Primordial Qilin warned him that the Divine Dao’s growing influence would attract enemies. At the same time, Kunpeng joined the Heavenly Court as Military Strategist and urged Di Jun and Taiyi to reach the Phoenix Clan before Pan Xuan, leaving both sides racing to win Yuanfeng’s support.

  • Primordial Qilin warned Pan Xuan that Hong Jun, Di Jun, and Tai Yi would oppose the Divine Dao’s expansion, and Pan Xuan flew south toward the Undying Volcano.
  • Di Jun and Taiyi visited Kunpeng in the North Sea and offered him the Heavenly Court’s Military Strategist position.
  • Kunpeng accepted the appointment and advised Di Jun that securing the Phoenix Clan’s neutrality or allegiance was vital to countering the Divine Dao.
  • Di Jun, Taiyi, and Kunpeng set out for the Undying Volcano ahead of Pan Xuan, while Kunpeng explained that Yuanfeng could be persuaded with benefits, especially help restoring the Phoenix Clan’s cultivation after Nirvana.

Ch. 128Taiyi and Di Jun's Attack

Pan Xuan reached the outskirts of the Undying Volcano and discovered Di Jun, Taiyi, and Kunpeng approaching. After secretly summoning the Twelve Ancestral Witches for help, he faced their coordinated assault and prepared to counter with the Primordial Heaven-Measuring Ruler.

  • Pan Xuan flew toward the Undying Volcano and sensed Di Jun, Taiyi, and Kunpeng heading there.
  • Pan Xuan concealed the Primordial Heaven-Measuring Ruler and sent a message to Mount Buzhou asking the Twelve Ancestral Witches for reinforcements.
  • Di Jun, Taiyi, and Kunpeng arrived and confronted Pan Xuan at the volcano’s outskirts.
  • Taiyi attacked with the Chaos Bell, Di Jun deployed the River Diagram and Luo Book, and Kunpeng transformed into his true form to strike from above.
  • Pan Xuan anticipated the coordinated assault and sent the Primordial Heaven-Measuring Ruler from his sleeve before the Chaos Bell’s toll reached him.

Ch. 129Pan Xuan's Hidden Reserves

Pan Xuan used the Primordial Heaven-Measuring Ruler, Vast Righteous Qi, and his precise judgment to withstand the attacks of Di Jun, Taiyi, and Kunpeng. He aimed to stall until help from Mount Buzhou arrived, and the three Quasi-Sages continued their assault as he narrowly held his ground.

  • Pan Xuan used the ruler’s Xuanhuang Merit Light to block Taiyi’s Chaos Bell, then retreated past Di Jun’s yin-yang net and Kunpeng’s talons.
  • Taiyi struck again with the Chaos Bell, Di Jun tightened his net and sealed the space, and Kunpeng unleashed a storm of wind blades.
  • Pan Xuan assessed the three opponents and relied on the Star Divine Dao Seal to send word to Mount Buzhou, resolving to stall for the Twelve Ancestral Witches.
  • Pan Xuan manifested his Merit Profound Yellow Dharma Aspect and Nine-Clawed Golden Dragon Law Deity, then used the Heaven-Measuring Ruler to redirect the Chaos Bell’s force into the Undying Volcano.
  • Pan Xuan found a weak point in Di Jun’s net and escaped through it, then endured Kunpeng’s wind blades with his regenerating Vast Righteous Qi.

Ch. 130The Phoenix Clan's Support

Pan Xuan struggled to withstand Di Jun, Taiyi, and Kunpeng while charging the Treasure-Dropping Golden Coin with merit and fortune to seize the Chaos Bell. Bound to the Undying Volcano by her oath, Yuanfeng sent Azure Luan and Fire Phoenix to aid him, and their attack forced Kunpeng to turn aside.

  • Pan Xuan used the Merit Profound Yellow Dharma Aspect to replenish his magical power as he endured the three Quasi-Sages’ assault and secretly empowered the Treasure-Dropping Golden Coin.
  • Taiyi drew on the Chaos Bell’s source power and struck Pan Xuan with a chaos-colored pillar, sending him reeling and further draining his reserves.
  • Pan Xuan calculated that he could not hold out much longer while the coin continued to accumulate merit and fortune for a transaction against the Chaos Bell.
  • Yuanfeng, unable to leave the Undying Volcano because of her Great Dao Oath, gave the Yuanfeng Pearl to Azure Luan and Fire Phoenix and ordered them to distract Kunpeng.
  • Azure Luan struck Kunpeng with wind blades and Fire Phoenix hit the base of his right wing with Nirvana Fire, forcing him to twist aside and recognize the Phoenix Clan’s support for the Witch Clan.

Ch. 131Treasure-dropping failed, Di Jun and Taiyi fled in defeat

Pan Xuan and the Twelve Ancestral Witches forced Di Jun, Taiyi, and Kunpeng to retreat after the Treasure-Dropping Golden Coin nearly stripped Taiyi of the Chaos Bell. Pan Xuan declined to pursue them into the starry heavens and turned instead to bringing the Phoenix Clan into the Divine Dao.

  • Azure Luan and Fire Phoenix pinned Kunpeng down while Pan Xuan fought Di Jun and Taiyi.
  • The Twelve Ancestral Witches arrived, prompting Di Jun to order a retreat toward the starry heavens.
  • Pan Xuan used the Treasure-Dropping Golden Coin on Taiyi's Chaos Bell, nearly severing its bond with Taiyi but failing to bring it down.
  • Di Jun, Taiyi, and Kunpeng escaped through a passage into the starry heavens, and Pan Xuan refused to pursue them.
  • Pan Xuan told the Ancestral Witches to focus on perfecting the Divine Dao and bringing the Phoenix Clan into it.
  • Azure Luan said Yuanfeng awaited Pan Xuan inside the mountain, and Pan Xuan agreed to enter.

Ch. 132The Phoenix Clan entered the Divine Dao, the God of the Sky

Pan Xuan formally brought the Phoenix Clan into the Divine Dao as Gods of the Sky, with Yuanfeng appointed to govern the heavens and celestial phenomena. After the clan received its investitures and felt its karmic burden lessen, the Star Divine Dao Seal awakened when the Phoenix imprint joined the Dragon and Qilin imprints.

  • Pan Xuan thanked Yuanfeng for sending Azure Luan and Fire Phoenix to help him, and she welcomed him and the Twelve Ancestral Witches into the Undying Volcano.
  • Pan Xuan offered the Phoenix Clan the new positions of Gods of the Sky, and Yuanfeng agreed to enter the Divine Dao.
  • Pan Xuan invested Yuanfeng as God of the Sky, and the divine authority began loosening the karmic burden on the Phoenix Clan.
  • Azure Luan, Fire Phoenix, Swan, Yuan Chu, and the other Phoenix Clan members received positions as Gods of the Sky over famed mountains and great rivers.
  • A Fire Phoenix imprint appeared on the Star Divine Dao Seal beside the Dragon and Qilin imprints, and the seal trembled as a profound aura spread around the Sacred Parasol Tree.

Ch. 133The Divine Dao Star Seal Advances in Rank, the Difference Between the Divine Dao and the Immortal Dao

After the Phoenix Clan joined the Divine Dao, the Star Seal advanced into an innate supreme treasure, strengthening the Divine Dao’s authority within the Heavenly Dao. Pan Xuan and Yuanfeng established the framework for the Gods of the Sky, and Pan Xuan departed with the Twelve Ancestral Witches for Mount Buzhou.

  • The Star Seal evolved into an innate supreme treasure after the imprints of the Dragon, Qilin, and Phoenix Clans gathered, making the Divine Dao’s core laws more complete.
  • Pan Xuan recognized that the Star Seal anchored the Divine Dao System, whose foundation of the myriad races’ order differed from Hong Jun’s Immortal Dao, founded on Hong Jun’s will.
  • Pan Xuan and Yuanfeng agreed on how the Gods of the Sky would coordinate with Mountain Gods, Earth Gods, and the Dragon Clan’s Water Gods.
  • Yuanfeng told Azure Luan that the Phoenix Clan would first focus on fulfilling the Gods of the Sky’s duties and securing its foundation.
  • Pan Xuan and the Twelve Ancestral Witches left the Undying Volcano and flew toward Mount Buzhou.

Ch. 134Pan Xuan's Confidence

After Pan Xuan returned to Mount Buzhou from the battle at the Undying Volcano, the Twelve Ancestral Witches worried over him and vowed to remember the Heavenly Court’s attack. Pan Xuan argued against rushing into war and explained that he had failed to take Taiyi’s Chaos Bell, though he believed he could claim it once his cultivation and resources grew.

  • Pan Xuan reassured Houtu that he had survived the combined assault by Di Jun, Taiyi, and Kunpeng, and thanked Azure Luan, Fire Phoenix, and the Twelve Ancestral Witches for their aid.
  • Zhu Rong, Gong Gong, Xuan Ming, and the other Ancestral Witches demanded revenge for the attack, but Pan Xuan urged them not to pursue the enemies into the Heavenly Court’s territory.
  • Pan Xuan said the Witch Clan should strengthen its foundations before confronting the Heavenly Court, and disclosed that his Treasure-Dropping Golden Coin had failed to take Taiyi’s Chaos Bell.
  • Houtu, Zhu Rong, Gong Gong, and Zhu Jiuyin encouraged Pan Xuan, with Zhu Jiuyin recalling a vision of the Chaos Bell’s radiance vanishing from Taiyi while Pan Xuan stood nearby.
  • Pan Xuan agreed that greater cultivation, merit, and fortune would let him take the Chaos Bell if Taiyi summoned it again.

Ch. 135Journey to the Blood Sea, the Ancestral Witches' protection

Pan Xuan proposed using the Blood Sea’s resources to strengthen the Witch Clan and offering Minghe a Divine Dao position that could help him pursue the Dao. Di Jiang assigned Houtu and Zhu Jiuyin to accompany Pan Xuan, and the three set out for the Blood Sea.

  • Pan Xuan warned that Hong Jun’s alliance of Di Jun, Taiyi, unaffiliated cultivators, and Xuanmen threatened the Witch Clan, which needed to grow its population and expand the Divine Dao System.
  • Pan Xuan proposed refining the Blood Sea’s turbid baleful qi and tainted blood, and offering Minghe authority as Lord of the Netherworld or God of the Blood Sea in exchange for joining the Divine Dao.
  • The Twelve Ancestral Witches insisted that Pan Xuan not travel alone, and Di Jiang chose Houtu and Zhu Jiuyin to accompany him.
  • Pan Xuan assigned the remaining Ancestral Witches to oversee Mount Buzhou and the Divine Dao System, then departed for the Blood Sea with Houtu and Zhu Jiuyin.

Ch. 136Pan Xuan's promise, Minghe's interest

Pan Xuan, Houtu, and Zhu Jiuyin visited Minghe at the Blood Sea, where Pan Xuan apologized for the Witch Clan’s earlier intrusion and offered him a foundation for attaining the Dao. Minghe’s anger gave way to cautious interest, and he invited them into the Netherworld Blood Sea Palace to discuss the offer.

  • Minghe sensed Pan Xuan, Houtu, and Zhu Jiuyin arrive and demanded that the Witch Clan leave the Blood Sea.
  • Pan Xuan acknowledged that the Witch Clan had been discourteous during its previous visit and apologized to Minghe in person.
  • Minghe accused the Witch Clan of trying to recruit him like Di Jun and Tai Yi had.
  • Pan Xuan told Minghe that the Witch Clan could give him a foundation for attaining the Dao.
  • Minghe emerged from the Blood Sea and invited Pan Xuan, Houtu, and Zhu Jiuyin into the Netherworld Blood Sea Palace to discuss the offer.

Ch. 137Minghe's choice, the Blood Sea joins the Divine Dao

Minghe accepted Pan Xuan's offer to join the Divine Dao as the God of the Blood Sea, gaining a Law Deity that could provide a path toward attaining the Dao. After Minghe and Pan Xuan swore their covenant, the Star Divine Dao Seal appointed him and recorded his place among the Divine Dao's great powers.

  • Pan Xuan explained how Minghe could use a Divine Dao Law Deity to unite with the Blood Sea's laws and offered him the stations of God of the Blood Sea or Lord of the Netherworld.
  • Pan Xuan asked the Witch Clan to gather and purify turbid baleful qi and tainted blood from the Blood Sea, and promised Minghe authority, autonomy, and support for establishing the Netherworld and Six Paths of Reincarnation.
  • Minghe accepted the God of the Blood Sea's authority on the condition that he and Pan Xuan jointly approve the Witch Clan's collection methods and purification array.
  • Minghe and Pan Xuan swore their covenant before the Great Dao and Heavenly Dao, while Houtu and Zhu Jiuyin welcomed Minghe into the Divine Dao.
  • Pan Xuan used the Star Divine Dao Seal to appoint Minghe, forming a Blood Sea Law Deity and adding the God of the Blood Sea to the seal.

Ch. 138Di Jun and Taiyi Take Action

After the Witch Clan’s rise alarmed him, Di Jun began deriving the Zhoutian Star Dou Great Array while Taiyi and Kunpeng gathered forces for the Heavenly Court. By the end, ten powerful spirits and tens of thousands of races had submitted, and their armies had assembled at the edge of the sea of stars.

  • Di Jun identified the Witch Clan’s lack of primordial spirits as a weakness and decided to establish the Heavenly Court and develop the Zhoutian Star Dou Great Array.
  • Di Jun assigned Taiyi and Kunpeng to recruit the Primordial World’s scattered forces, while he began deriving the array with the River Diagram and Luo Book.
  • Taiyi subdued Ji Meng, Yingzhao, Fei Lian, Jiu Ying, Shangyang, Qin Yuan, Ci Tie, Guiche, Baize, and Qiongqi with the Chaos Bell, and Kunpeng persuaded them to swear Great Dao Oaths.
  • Taiyi and Kunpeng brought scattered races under the Heavenly Court, entering their chiefs and powerful elders with exhausted potential into the Investiture of the Gods List while other members swore loyalty.
  • Tens of thousands of races submitted, and their allied armies gathered at the edge of the sea of stars.

Ch. 139The Demon Clan's Heavenly Court Was Established, and Pan Xuan's Crucial Position

Di Jun united the myriad races under the Demon Clan and established the Heavenly Court, earning the Heavenly Dao’s recognition and a surge of fortune. Pan Xuan judged the new power no immediate cause for alarm and returned toward Mount Buzhou, while Di Jiang’s Ancestral Witches waited for him to decide the Witch Clan’s response.

  • Taiyi and Kunpeng brought the Ten Great Demon Gods, soldiers, and submitted races to Di Jun, who declared the Demon Clan and ordered the Lingxiao Treasure Hall built.
  • Di Jun completed the Lingxiao Treasure Hall and proclaimed the Heavenly Court’s establishment, with Taiyi raising the Chaos Bell to summon the Heavenly Dao’s response.
  • Heavenly Court fortune strengthened Di Jun, Taiyi, Kunpeng, the Ten Great Demon Gods, and the demon soldiers, while the other powers across the Primordial World sensed its founding.
  • Pan Xuan, Houtu, and Zhu Jiuyin left the Blood Sea Palace, and Pan Xuan said the Witch Clan should return to Mount Buzhou and strengthen itself rather than rush to respond.
  • The Ancestral Witches in Pangu Hall discussed the Heavenly Court’s growing military strength, and Di Jiang ordered them to wait for Pan Xuan to return and decide their response.

Ch. 140Conflict among the Witch Clan, Pan Xuan analyzes the Primordial World's situation

Pan Xuan reported that the Blood Sea cooperation was secure, then analyzed how Hong Jun’s arrangements had positioned the Heavenly Court and other powers to check the Witch Clan and its Divine Dao. As Zhu Rong and several Ancestral Witches urged an immediate attack, Pan Xuan argued that an all-out war was premature and left them considering whether defeating the Heavenly Court would require the Dutian Divine Fiends Grand Formation.

  • Pan Xuan told the Ancestral Witches that Minghe had joined the Divine Dao and agreed to work with Houtu on a purification array for the Blood Sea.
  • Pan Xuan explained that Di Jun and Tai Yi had founded the Demon Clan and Heavenly Court, prompting Zhu Rong, Gong Gong, Xuan Ming, and others to advocate attacking them.
  • Di Jiang quieted the calls for war and asked Pan Xuan for his view.
  • Pan Xuan said the Witch Clan should not yet begin an all-out war, then described Hong Jun’s disciples, the Heavenly Court, and the King Father of the East and West Queen Mother as parts of a plan to curb the Witch Clan and Divine Dao.
  • Zhu Rong challenged Pan Xuan’s caution, and Pan Xuan asked whether the Witch Clan would need the Dutian Divine Fiends Grand Formation to conquer the Heavenly Court.

Ch. 141Hong Jun's Deep-Laid Schemes, Pan Xuan's Countermeasures

Pan Xuan convinced the Ancestral Witches that attacking the Heavenly Court would give Hong Jun an excuse to intervene and could destroy the Primordial World. Di Jiang agreed that the Witch Clan should strengthen itself first, and Pan Xuan laid out plans for developing its forces and the Divine Dao System.

  • Zhu Rong argued that the Ancestral Witches could conquer the Heavenly Court without using the Dutian Divine Fiends Grand Formation, but Pan Xuan asked what would happen afterward.
  • Pan Xuan warned that destroying the Heavenly Court would prompt Hong Jun to intervene, forcing the Witch Clan to use its grand formation and risk shattering the Primordial World.
  • Pan Xuan explained that Hong Jun could not act directly and urged the Witch Clan to build its strength instead of going to war.
  • Di Jiang agreed that the Witch Clan should wait and develop its people and Divine Dao Law Deities before confronting Hong Jun.
  • Pan Xuan proposed purifying the Blood Sea’s tainted resources, training the twelve tribes’ warriors, cultivating Great Witches, and maintaining the Three Clans’ divine positions.

Ch. 142Circumference Heavenly Cycle Purification Grand Array

Pan Xuan and the Twelve Ancestral Witches traveled with Minghe to the Blood Sea’s deepest abyss to establish a purification grand array that would send refined resources to Mount Buzhou. They began forming the array, and Minghe directed the Blood Sea’s turbid baleful qi and tainted blood into the Twenty-Four-Grade Creation Green Lotus for purification.

  • Pan Xuan and the Twelve Ancestral Witches concealed their journey and traveled to the Blood Sea with the Twenty-Four-Grade Creation Green Lotus.
  • Minghe welcomed the group and led them to the abyssal vortex, the source of the Blood Sea’s turbid baleful qi and tainted blood.
  • Pan Xuan designated the Green Lotus as the array eye, assigned Houtu and the eleven other Ancestral Witches their roles, and named the formation the Circumference Heavenly Cycle Purification Grand Array.
  • Pan Xuan and Houtu took their places at the array’s core while the eleven Ancestral Witches established the surrounding positions and stabilized the formation with their laws.
  • Minghe drew on the Blood Sea’s source power and sent torrents of turbid baleful qi and tainted blood into the Green Lotus’s light of chaos.

Ch. 143The Witch Clan's Netherworld Plan, Pan Xuan's Promise to Minghe

Pan Xuan and the Twelve Ancestral Witches completed a purification array in the Blood Sea and built channels to send purified fiend qi and blood essence to Mount Buzhou. Pan Xuan promised Minghe a place in the future Six Paths of Reincarnation, and Minghe accepted the Witch Clan’s cooperation.

  • Pan Xuan used the light of chaos to purify the Blood Sea’s turbid fiend qi and tainted blood into usable essence.
  • Di Jiang and the other Ancestral Witches stabilized thirteen Spatial Arrays, creating twelve channels for fiend qi and one passage to the Pangu Blood Pool.
  • Pan Xuan left the Star Tribe without a fiend qi channel because fiend qi would harm its members’ primordial spirits.
  • Minghe withdrew his active support as the Circumference Heavenly Cycle Purification Grand Array began operating on its own.
  • Pan Xuan promised Minghe an Underworld Divine Office in the future Six Paths of Reincarnation System, and Minghe agreed to the cooperation.

Ch. 144The Witch Clan's Cultivation Secret Realms

Pan Xuan proposed and the Twelve Ancestral Witches established twelve cultivation secret realms at Mount Buzhou, each supplied with fiend qi and a Time Acceleration Array. After Houtu joined Pan Xuan at the Blood Sea, he asked her to locate scattered Turbid Fiend Qi Nodes and create secondary purification cores.

  • Pan Xuan explained that the Witch Clan needed twelve cultivation secret realms with Time Acceleration Arrays, and the Ancestral Witches returned to Mount Buzhou to build them.
  • Zhu Jiuyin established a Time Acceleration Array in each tribe's secret realm while the Ancestral Witches adapted the grounds to their laws and cultivation needs.
  • The twelve secret realms began receiving fiend qi, and clansmen entered them to cultivate at an accelerated rate.
  • Houtu received Pan Xuan's message and traveled to the Blood Sea after the secret realms were completed.
  • Pan Xuan asked Houtu to use her Earth Law to find scattered Turbid Fiend Qi Nodes and establish secondary purification cores, and she agreed to help.

Ch. 145Reincarnation's Call, Pan Xuan's Concern

Pan Xuan and Houtu expanded the Blood Sea purification network, but Houtu sensed an ancient call from its depths that Pan Xuan recognized as the embryonic reincarnation law. He persuaded her to remain near him and promise to consult him before acting, while he resolved to find a way to prevent her from transforming into reincarnation.

  • Pan Xuan and Houtu established secondary Purification Array Eyes throughout the Blood Sea, linking its scattered turbid fiend nodes to the main formation.
  • At the western Blood Sea, Houtu sensed an intermittent call from deep below, and Pan Xuan realized it came from the embryonic Six Paths of Reincarnation.
  • Pan Xuan explained the call as a resonance with ancient law fragments and suggested Houtu stay nearby to contemplate the Netherworld Dao.
  • Pan Xuan asked Houtu to consult him before taking any action, and she promised; he gave her a jade talisman linked to the Star Seal for emergencies.
  • Pan Xuan informed Di Jiang and the other Ancestral Witches that Houtu would remain in the Blood Sea, prompting Zhu Rong and Gong Gong to argue over her safety.
  • As Houtu contemplated beside the abyss, Pan Xuan recognized the growing danger and resolved to find a substitute before she transformed into reincarnation.

Ch. 146Netherworld Cave, Three-Light Divine Array

Houtu established Netherworld Cave beside the Blood Sea’s main array to study the Netherworld Dao, while Pan Xuan, Di Jiang, and Zhu Jiuyin built cultivation arrays across the Three Immortal Islands. The Three-Light Divine Array was completed, and Houtu stayed behind to continue her cultivation as Pan Xuan returned toward Mount Buzhou.

  • Minghe allowed Houtu to establish a cave abode in the Blood Sea on the condition that it remain away from his secluded cultivation area.
  • Houtu used Earth Law to build Netherworld Cave, inscribing law patterns and creating an entry ward linked to her law deity.
  • Pan Xuan summoned Di Jiang and Zhu Jiuyin to the Blood Sea, then traveled with them to the Three Immortal Islands to improve the Witch Clan’s cultivation grounds.
  • Pan Xuan directed Di Jiang and Zhu Jiuyin to connect the islands’ spiritual veins to time-acceleration arrays and a passage carrying refined fiend qi from the Blood Sea.
  • The three completed the Three-Light Divine Array across Penglai, Fangzhang, and Yingzhou, and Pan Xuan set limits on how long clan members could use its secret realms.
  • Di Jiang and Zhu Jiuyin returned to Mount Buzhou while Houtu remained in Netherworld Cave, and Pan Xuan reminded her to consult him before acting on anything she sensed.

Ch. 147The Pangu Orthodox Lineage's mutual rejection, the Three Pure Ones' duties

Pan Xuan warned the Ancestral Witches that Hong Jun could use the rise of seven Sages to tighten his control over the Heavenly Dao, and proposed gaining strength while dividing Hong Jun’s allies. He argued that the Witch Clan and the Three Pure Ones might have been turned against each other by Hong Jun, and Di Jiang agreed they should try to approach them.

  • Pan Xuan summoned eleven Ancestral Witches to Pangu Hall and explained how each new Sage could help Hong Jun break through Father God's phantom's blockade of the Heavenly Dao.
  • Pan Xuan said Minghe and the Ancestral Witches could pursue other paths to the Dao, while the Witch Clan should also divide Hong Jun's pieces by approaching the Three Pure Ones.
  • Zhu Rong, Gong Gong, and Jumang objected that the Three Pure Ones had scorned or ignored the Witch Clan and were Hong Jun's direct disciples.
  • Pan Xuan proposed that the Witch Clan and the Three Pure Ones had complementary duties as descendants of Pangu, and that Hong Jun might have engineered their mutual rejection to prevent them from joining forces.
  • Di Jiang agreed that the Witch Clan should approach the Three Pure Ones and try to make them question Hong Jun.

Ch. 148The Three Pure Ones' Stance

Di Jiang, Zhu Jiuyin, and Pan Xuan traveled to Kunlun Mountain to sound out the Three Pure Ones’ stance toward the Witch Clan. Taiqing Laozi invited them inside despite Yuanshi Tianzun’s displeasure, and the three visitors entered the Three Pure Ones Hall.

  • Di Jiang chose Zhu Jiuyin and Pan Xuan to accompany him to Kunlun Mountain for a cautious meeting with the Three Pure Ones.
  • The three concealed their auras during the journey, then revealed themselves openly outside Kunlun Mountain.
  • Taiqing Laozi, Yuanshi Tianzun, and Sect Master Tongtian discussed the visitors, and Taiqing Laozi ordered White Crane Boy to welcome them.
  • White Crane Boy escorted Di Jiang, Zhu Jiuyin, and Pan Xuan through Kunlun Mountain to the Three Pure Ones Hall.
  • The three Witch Clan visitors crossed the hall’s plaza and stepped inside.

Ch. 149An inexplicable repulsion

Di Jiang, Zhu Jiuyin, and Pan Xuan visited the Three Pure Ones to discuss cooperation between the Divine Dao and Xuanmen. Di Jiang and Zhu Jiuyin discovered that an unnatural loathing arose between them and the Three Pure Ones, while Pan Xuan remained unaffected.

  • Di Jiang, Zhu Jiuyin, and Pan Xuan met the Three Pure Ones in the Three Pure Ones Hall.
  • Di Jiang and Zhu Jiuyin felt unexplained hostility toward the Three Pure Ones and recognized that it did not come from their own hearts.
  • Zhu Jiuyin sensed an external disturbance at the level of the Heavenly Dao, while Pan Xuan showed no reaction to the hostility.
  • Yuanshi Tianzun felt his disdain for the Witch Clan intensify, and Tongtian detected a faint repulsion that his sword heart could not cut away.
  • Taiqing Laozi silently observed subtle law fluctuations in Di Jiang and Zhu Jiuyin but none in Pan Xuan.
  • Di Jiang explained the Divine Dao's development and proposed exploring cooperation with Xuanmen.

Ch. 150Pan Xuan's reminder

Pan Xuan sealed the Three Pure Ones Hall from heavenly perception and argued that an outside force had planted mutual hostility between the Witch Clan and the Three Pure Ones. Taiqing Laozi acknowledged the logic of his theory but said it still lacked evidence.

  • Taiqing Laozi agreed to consider Di Jiang's proposal to cooperate with the Three Pure Ones.
  • Pan Xuan summoned the Star Divine Dao Seal and concealed the hall from divination, karma perception, and outside observation.
  • Pan Xuan asked whether the Three Pure Ones had sensed anything unusual during Di Jiang's earlier remarks.
  • Pan Xuan revealed that Di Jiang and Zhu Jiuyin had also felt an inexplicable aversion toward the Three Pure Ones and proposed that an outside force had caused it through the Heavenly Dao.
  • Taiqing Laozi said Pan Xuan's conjecture made sense but still required evidence.
