Background / History

Gu Yue Na'er is the transformed Silver Dragon King. She was injured while in her true form, sealed her own power, and reverted to a silver-haired, purple-eyed girl with no memories. Di Tian and Bi Ji identify her condition as a sealing of her strength rather than a permanent loss, while Di Tian remains fiercely protective of her as his master 14 15.

When she awakens, Lin Fan is the first person she sees. She immediately regards him as her most important relative and protects him from Di Tian's Soul Power pressure, despite not knowing her own past 15. Lin Fan subsequently escorts her out of the Star Dou Great Forest, teaches her cultivation, and brings her to Notting Academy 15 17 20.

Her identity is complicated by a split consciousness. Gu Yue is the original consciousness of the Silver Dragon King's main body, while Na'er is an avatar created from one-quarter of Gu Yue's memories and spiritual consciousness. Both lost their memories when Gu Yue's injuries and separation were disrupted; when Gu Yue takes control, Na'er's consciousness becomes dormant and retains no memory of those events 127.

Despite this gentleness, she is protective of those she cares about. She stands up for Lin Fan, Ning Rongrong, and the other work-study students when they are threatened or bullied 69 104 115. Her battle instincts make her calm and decisive in combat even when she is otherwise timid 20 130.

Gu Yue, her alternate consciousness, is cold, domineering, and hostile toward humans.
