"One, two, three, four, five, six... Just as expected, eight floors."

Wu Di looked at the moss-covered building before him without surprise and walked straight in through the entrance.

"I remember it should be here."

Wu Di found an entrance leading underground on the first floor. Anyone else would probably have had to make their way through this eight-story building filled with countless traps.

But since he knew the plot well, he did not need to take so many detours. He went straight into the true House of Evolution through an underground passage covered in mottled marks.

"Warning! Warning! An intruder has entered."

"What's going on? Someone actually found the entrance and came straight in?"

"I didn't expect them to arrive so quickly! Even stranger, that bald guy didn't come. It's this masked fellow instead."

In the underground laboratory's main hall, Dr. Genos's clones stared at the surveillance screen and began arguing heatedly.

"Enough. Release Asura."

"What? Have you lost your mind? That thing is completely uncontrollable—a monster through and through!"

Most of Dr. Genos's clones wore frightened expressions. Clearly, they were filled with fear toward Asura, the strongest test subject in the base.

"I only need to tell him there's an incredibly powerful human outside, and he'll definitely be interested. He can deal with the intruder while he's at it. There isn't any other force in the base capable of stopping him now!"

The hall instantly fell silent. Dr. Genos headed toward a room at the deepest part of the base.

"Hm?"

As Wu Di slowly advanced through the long corridor, he suddenly felt the ground beneath his feet tremble, the vibrations drawing ever closer.

"Has he come?"

Wu Di's expression turned grave as he braced himself. This was one of the few monsters in One Punch Man that could sense Saitama's strength.

"Oh! Found you! Is this the little ant?"

Thud, thud, thud! A massive figure charged out of the darkness of the corridor, gripping Dr. Genos in one hand.

"Asura Kabuto!"

Without the slightest fear, Wu Di fiercely swung his coldly gleaming spiked club, but Asura Kabuto ignored it completely.

Boom! A massive fist slammed Wu Di and his spiked club into the wall, turning him into a pile of flesh with no recognizable human shape.

"Hahaha, trash! That incredibly powerful human you mentioned had better not disappoint me!"

Asura Kabuto laughed maniacally. Dr. Genos, meanwhile, wore a solemn expression. He naturally knew just how terrifying the other party was when he went mad.

Still, seeing that Wu Di had completely lost all signs of life, he secretly breathed a sigh of relief. There was still much research underway in the base, and it absolutely could not be destroyed by outsiders.

Asura Kabuto turned around and saw Wu Di standing there completely unharmed, though his clothes were tattered beyond recognition.

Dr. Genos's eyes were also full of shock. He had watched Wu Di get smashed into a meat patty with his own eyes, yet he had already recovered in such a short time.

It reminded him of a test subject that had escaped from the base—Zombieman.
