Fierce Battle

Boom!

Peter fell from above and slammed heavily onto a moving car.

"Ah!" The woman and child inside screamed repeatedly at the sudden appearance of a man.

"Hey! Sorry, it's me, Spider-Man!"

Peter struggled to his feet, his chest heaving as he panted and greeted the woman.

But the terrified woman floored the gas pedal, sending Peter flying dozens of meters away.

"Hey! Ma'am, I think you need to calm down!"

Peter hurriedly slapped the car window, signaling that he did not want to be killed by a female driver just yet.

But the black shadow weaving between the buildings gave him no such chance.

Eddie made a huge leap and blocked the car's path. Several black tendrils suddenly extended from his body, lifting Peter off the hood.

"I swore I'd make you pay!" Eddie's eerie voice reached Peter's ears as he dragged him into a building, smashed through it in fury, and kicked Peter away.

Poor Peter. If he had encountered the original Eddie and Venom, he probably would not have been so helpless. But now he faced an enhanced Eddie, so naturally he got brutally beaten, fulfilling Li Nian's long-held dream.

"Urgh... cough, cough..." Peter was so badly beaten that his vision swam. Lying atop the ruined reception desk, he reflected on life.

"Where did this guy come from? He's even tougher than Sandman last time." Peter struggled to his feet and watched Eddie slowly approach.

"I don't even know you!"

"But I know you!" Eddie had no intention of being reasonable. The Venom symbiote on his body transformed into long ropes, swiftly binding Peter's limbs.

"What the hell is this stuff?!" Peter cried. The last time he had seen so many tentacles had been on Otto, and neither he nor Mary Jane liked being tied up!

"Are you an octopus too? Are mollusks trendy now?"

Eddie was driven mad by Peter's incessant chatter. He threw a heavy punch into Peter's abdomen, nearly making him vomit sour fluid, though Peter managed to swallow it back down.

"All right, now let's see who you really are under that mask!" Eddie's right hand turned into a blade as he prepared to cut open Peter's mask.

"Didn't your mother tell you that forcing people is very bad behavior?"

Eddie had barely heard the voice by his ear when a laser struck him, rescuing Peter from his clutches.

"Oh! Maybe you don't have a mother." In Peter's eyes, Li Nian was like a glowing savior. His golden cape fluttered in the wind as he slowly descended to the ground.

"Eddie Brock! This ends now!"

Li Nian stared grimly at the figure crawling out from beneath the collapsed wall, every nerve on alert. After all, he was facing a fully enhanced Venom who could use magic.

"Be careful, Peter! He can open a portal and send you away."

"Got it, Mr. Li!" Peter stood ready, his gaze locked onto Eddie's body. Even his Spider-Sense could not keep up with Eddie's movements.

Li Nian and Peter fought side by side, charging together at Eddie, who was a full size larger than in the original story.

Bang!

Eddie easily lifted a car to block Li Nian's laser, while casually swatting away the ambushing Peter and flinging him out onto the street.

"You should take me seriously!" Li Nian immediately rushed forward, wrapped his arms around Eddie's waist, and flew into the sky. He wanted to take Eddie away from the city and prevent further destruction.

"You monster!" Eddie's face twisted as he hammered fist after fist into Li Nian's body.

Though Li Nian could not feel pain, every blow landed with terrifying force, forcing him to fall from the air.

The two crashed into a park together. Eddie was unfortunately impaled by the sharp blade of a fountain sculpture, while Li Nian rolled across the ground several times before barely coming to a stop.

"Hey! Mr. Li, are you okay?" Peter swung over on his webbing and hurriedly helped Li Nian up.

"I'm fine."

"Oh! Look at that guy!"

Peter suddenly shouted at Eddie.

Without any panic, Eddie pulled himself free from the statue. A bloody hole gaped in his chest, making him look like a gutted fish. But Eddie's recovery abilities were far stronger than any fish's.

Eddie lightly licked his lips, his long tongue slowly sliding over the ring of sharp, densely packed fangs. Like a warrior returned from hell, the wound in his chest healed in an instant, and his body grew another size larger.

"I think... we might need to call for reinforcements..." Li Nian looked at the two-meter-tall muscular man and said uncertainly, "Peter, don't you have some ability where you get bigger the angrier you are?"

"I'm not getting cheated on." Peter shook his head helplessly, though his eyes remained fixed on Eddie.

Whoosh!

Li Nian's pupils contracted. In the blink of an eye, Eddie vanished from where he stood.

Rip!

Peter sensed Eddie the instant he appeared, but his body could not keep up with his thoughts. Eddie grabbed his shoulder and began climbing toward the rooftop.

Sharp claws hooked through Peter's shoulder, and the young man cried out in agony.

Eddie carried Peter up the building at an absurdly fast speed, like King Kong climbing the Empire State Building.

"I... am the king of this city!"

Eddie laughed arrogantly, casually releasing his grip and throwing the severely injured Peter from the rooftop.

Li Nian hurried forward and caught Peter. His Spider-Man suit was soaked in blood, and Peter himself was barely conscious, as if he might fall asleep at any moment.

"Hahaha!" Eddie stood on the rooftop watching the scene, a sinister grin curling his lips as he reveled in it like a god above.

"You hurt my student!"

Just as Eddie laughed wildly, a mechanical octopus tentacle clamped down on his head, pinning him against the wall and grinding him down from the top floor to the bottom.

Otto appeared with fury written across his face. "I don't know if you've heard of a mad scientist!"

One of Otto's tentacles instantly pierced an empty sedan and hurled it at Eddie.

Bang!

"This useless attack? Are you going senile?" Eddie merely shrugged the car off his body. "I bet you'd taste great roasted!"

"Damn it!" Otto froze for a moment. "Where did this thing come from? Prison?"

"I swear I never saw him in prison!"

Eddie looked up to see an overwhelming wave of yellow sand sweeping toward him. The sandstorm surrounded him, constantly tearing at his body and leaving marks like wind blades.

Seeing that the attack had little effect, Flint simply blew him into the sky. Against the pitch-black night, Eddie vanished somewhere into the distance.

Flint immediately chased after him. Otto wanted to go help as well, but Li Nian stopped him.

"Save Peter first!"
