Zhang Yu had entered the Dao through the Word Seal, one of the Six Great Dao Seals, and later came to possess the Eye Seal. He was already quite familiar with the seals of the Great Dao, so with the slightest touch of his intent, he immediately understood what this seal was.
This was the Fate Seal, one of the Six Great Dao Seals. It corresponded to the Seal of the Body among the Six Orthodox Seals. The body was fate, the foundation upon which all living beings dwelled.
Of the six Dao Seals, this was the most fundamental.
This seal could truly be called the backbone of the six seals. After entering the Profound Method, he had first cultivated the body before proceeding to the rest. If he obtained this seal, it would undoubtedly further strengthen and complete his foundation.
A thought turned in his mind. Back then, he had used the Word Seal as his Dao foundation to step into the realm of Profound Venerable. Later, when he attained the Void Abode, the Eye Seal had also played an immensely crucial role. Now, at the stage of casting off attachments and delusions, he had unexpectedly obtained the Fate Seal once more.
In truth, he had already formed an idea about how to break through attachments and delusions after reading many Daoist scriptures.
Why must I break attachment?
To strive against attachment was to fall into attachment. There was nothing to break.
The answer given by the Daoist scriptures was to test the cultivator's own cultivation and their comprehension of the Dao. Once one attained the Dao and realized truth, attachments and delusions would resolve themselves.
This would likely require an exceedingly long time to contemplate and comprehend. No wonder so many cultivators had been blocked at this stage.
