Once the great city came to a halt, cloud paths descended. True Person Xian Ding and Yu Lingbi each rode auspicious clouds forward, arriving before the two of them.
Li Mizhen glanced at the green branch in Yu Lingbi's hand, made a Daoist salute, and said, "You must be Administrator Yu."
Yu Lingbi returned the salute, then saluted Guan Chaosheng as well. "Greetings, Exalted Guan."
Guan Chaosheng gave Yu Lingbi a sidelong glance and nodded casually. He then looked to True Person Xian Ding and said, "Fellow Daoist Xian Ding, we have not met for several hundred years. Your cultivation has improved quite a bit, it seems."
