But if they insisted on transforming flesh-and-blood creatures, Celestial Xia would naturally stand up for the latter, for in principle, the people of this world were all citizens of Celestial Xia.

Yet the various changes within this realm could bring Celestial Xia no small amount of inspiration.

This world possessed ample experience in the coexistence of flesh-and-blood creatures and spiritual creatures, as well as methods for spiritualizing flesh-and-blood creatures. This was an exceedingly precious asset.

Spiritualization appeared undesirable, but if it was not widely employed and was instead used in certain specific circumstances, it could be extremely useful. For instance, if a soldier was gravely wounded, he could be temporarily spiritualized. Then he would no longer be severely afflicted by injuries
