He had concealed himself very well to begin with and had no idea how the other party had located him so precisely. He guessed it was due to some Daoist technique.

True Person Lu was extremely sensitive to auras. Though he did not know what was happening outside, he knew Daoist Rong must have suffered a loss. Thus he said, "Have the cultivators within the Way go up and obstruct him. Though it will not do much, it can at least cause some disturbance. And, forgive my bluntness, why bring so many junior cultivators with you? You would be better off bringing more Primordial Spirit True Persons."

Daoist Rong shook his head. They were not the Upper Three Worlds; they had only this much foundation, and no matter what, they had to preserve some of their lifeblood.

The Primordial Spirit True Persons within the Way were certainly their current fighting strength, but in his view, many of their Dao paths had already reached their end. They would achieve little in the future.

These junior disciples might seem ordinary, but all were of superior aptitude within their clans and sects, every one chosen from a hundred. With them, even if they all perished, the Chang Ying Way
