After they exchanged formal greetings, Daoist Tai Shi spoke first. "We summoned you two here because of the matter concerning the former sage Zhen Yu just now. Since our generation was formed from the innate, innate qi has rarely been able to attain completeness again. Yet amid this turn of heavenly secrets, an Anomaly has emerged."
Daoist Tai Chu also said, "If there is one case, there may be a second. This is unfavorable to our contest for the Dao and may give rise to additional variables. We must guard against such things happening again. After discussion, we wish for you two to seek out and monitor the innate qi throughout heaven and earth, doing your utmost to prevent another such occurrence."
Zhang Yu said, "If it is the workings of heavenly secrets, I fear it cannot be suppressed. The more one does so, the more it is urged into motion. It may not turn out as the Overseers wish."
Daoist Tai Ji said, "Even if it cannot be prevented, it will suffice to delay it. Once our contest for the Dao is concluded, it will no longer matter."
