Within Primordial Unity Celestial Palace, the five Origin Saints each formed hand seals and stood atop jeweled lotuses, their saintly visages solemn. Precious light bloomed behind them, while the various tracks of Zhi Dao revolved ceaselessly outside, carrying a wondrous rhythm of eternal constancy and fixed permanence.
Tai Ji said at this moment, "Since Golden Court elevated an upper deity to inherit our Dao title, there has been no further movement. They are likely stalling us, waiting for the times to change."
Primordial Simplicity said, "We may send another message to Golden Court, urging them to fill the remaining titles. If they are unwilling, we may recommend candidates ourselves. This concerns whether our generation can seize the Upper Dao and must not be taken lightly."
Tai Chu said, "Ever since Qing Xuan, Yuanheng, and the others entered the Upper Layer, they have repeatedly cast their gaze toward the Lower Layer and moved with increasing frequency. Though they have not directly interfered with the Lower Layer, they have nonetheless affected the struggle below. This too should be restrained."
Tai Shi held a different view. He said, "Golden Court is now led by cultivators in human form. What they think and seek is naturally different from the original five, and in my eyes, they are likewise wholly unlike what came before. Yet this arises from their nature and cannot be reversed. There is neither need nor possibility to correct it. So long as their general course does not run contrary, we need not concern ourselves with the rest."
After a slight pause, he added, "Recently, Origin Void has been surging, and the great chaos has developed changes of its own. That is the enemy which truly threatens us. Our attention should be placed there."
