Primordial Sage Tai Chu said, "Though this person has been sealed and suppressed, only if both our sides acknowledge this matter can this person's transformations be bound. Primordial Unity Celestial Palace hopes that, should disputes arise between our two houses in the future, before the Dao conflict has determined victory or defeat, this avatar will not be released."
Daoist Primordial Simplicity replied solemnly, "Since an agreement was made beforehand, Golden Court will naturally honor its promise."
Primordial Sage Tai Shi said, "There is one more matter. There were originally two Chaos avatars. Though we have sealed one, another remains outside, and the hidden danger of Grand Chaos has not yet been wholly removed.
"Only, its threat now lies entirely in the Lower Layer, which we should not interfere with. But if someone who has cultivated a Primordial Spirit enters Grand Chaos and thereby links to the Upper Layer, then we may devise a means to stop them, thus cutting off the spread of Chaos corruption.
"Therefore, Primordial Unity Celestial Palace wishes to make another agreement with your side. Whether such people fallen into Chaos emerge from Celestial Xia or Origin Xia, if they head into Grand Chaos, both our houses may eliminate and block them, preventing Chaos aura from spreading through the Lower Layer."
Zhang Yu knew that resolving Huo Heng did not mean Grand Chaos had been resolved. The other Chaos vessel, Daoist Zhen Yu, could likewise stir up storms. The five Primordial Sages' request seemed quite reasonable on the surface, but why had they not raised it beforehand, only bringing it up afterward?
He keenly sensed that there seemed to be another issue hidden within.
