The chaotic battle that had erupted at Brightlight Building yesterday still cast its shadow.

Compared to usual, the black market was far quieter. A large number of shops had shut their doors, with only a scattered few still open for business.

There were few pedestrians on the streets. Now and then, several Mythic Walkers hurried past, their expressions wary, as though afraid of inviting trouble.

Yellow Wind Little Sage's gaze swiftly swept over the tightly shuttered shops on either side of the street before he headed straight for the Golden Scales Pawnshop he had visited before.

At this hour, there were no other customers in the pawnshop. An old man dressed in brocade sat behind the counter.

His beard and hair were wholly white, yet he was vigorous and full of spirit. His eyes shone brightly, and an exquisite golden magnifying glass hung from his chest, glimmering faintly beneath the lights.

The old man raised his head in surprise and glanced at Yellow Wind Little Sage as he entered.

The black robe that concealed his entire body, along with the method that distorted light and shadow, gave him an inexplicable sense of familiarity, as if he had seen someone similar somewhere before.

"What may I do for you, honored guest?"

The old man's voice was gentle and courteous.

Yellow Wind Little Sage did not waste words. Greedy Mouth opened and spat out the three mythic materials he had prepared to sell.

Unknown Bloodline Essence, Spirit-Resonance Bud, and Spirit-Medicine Pestle—the three materials lay neatly arranged atop the counter, each exuding a faint mythic aura.

A breeze trembled, transforming into a voice.

"Appraise them!"
