Background / History

Wang Dong entered Shrek Academy while concealing her gender and residing in the boys' dormitory. The academy's higher-ups allowed the arrangement because of the Haotian Sect's prior negotiations; her Goddess of Light Butterfly martial soul otherwise carried obvious female characteristics. She initially shared a room with Huo Yuhao, but their conflict over her strict dormitory rules escalated into a fight. 13 14

When Wang Dong was about to strike Huo Yuhao, Bai Luo intervened and immediately recognized her as female from her skeletal structure. She attacked Bai Luo twice after he restrained her, but the vast difference in strength left her helpless. Bai Luo punished her publicly with a golden wheat stalk, leaving her humiliated and furious; she departed threatening retaliation. 13 14

The incident left Wang Dong physically sore and emotionally shaken. She later went to Bai Luo's clinic demanding that he take responsibility and treat the injury. As a condition of treatment, she changed dormitories so she would no longer conflict with Huo Yuhao; Shrek promptly arranged a private room for her. Bai Luo then healed her in seconds. 21 22
