The God-Emperor was going to recover?
The Primarchs had complicated feelings upon hearing this news. They had long known of the divide between The Emperor and the God-Emperor. The Emperor bore humanity and was the Primarchs' genetic father. The God-Emperor was the result of ten thousand years of Imperium worship, and in truth, he was not all that different from the four Chaos Gods of the Warp.
"Is this God-Emperor... normal?" Jaghatai asked. "Now that you've stepped down from the Golden Throne and become free, without your influence, could the God-Emperor become extreme?"
"I wanted to ask the same thing. Faith in the God-Emperor has kept the Imperium from collapsing for ten thousand years, but its essence is undeniably savage," Fulgrim agreed with Jaghatai. He looked somewhat weary; he had surely seen plenty of filth while inspecting corruption alongside Konrad and Vulkan.
It was rather amusing, really. Konrad was too extreme, Vulkan too kind, and Fulgrim, burdened by guilt, exceptionally humble. Yet when the three Primarchs were brought together, they ended up keeping one another in check, sparing their purges and investigations much needless bloodshed.
Of course, neither Konrad nor Vulkan was satisfied with the results, and Fulgrim, caught between them and trying to console both sides, suffered greatly. Still, Fulgrim had no complaints. He felt it was what he ought to do.
The sound of grass and trees growing rose in the air, and then Isha appeared at Lin Fan's side. Vines and branches curled around his waist and arms with gentle affection.
"Hi, darling~" Isha said softly. Compared to before, she had become gentler and more restrained. She had surely spent these past years planting quite a few Trees of Life with the Aeldari.
Only after Isha arrived did The Emperor slowly speak. "As for the God-Emperor's problem,
