The Primarchs and their allies fought through the Necrontyr defenses as the conflict escalated into a battle against Horus and the Fundamental God. Lin Fan helped unite the galaxy’s forces to defeat the threat, then left to explore another Terra while the Milky Way began to recover.

• Mortarion rejected his brothers’ offer of daemonhood, but Leman Russ forced him into Lorgar’s ritual, transforming him into a Daemon Primarch who helped clear the Throne Room.
• The Emperor led the Primarchs and their forces through the Necrontyr defenses, where they fought Tyranids, daemons, Orks, and their corresponding Waaagh beings.
• Trazyn was repeatedly caught in the battlefield’s disguises and reversals before the Silent King chose to mobilize the Necrontyr dynasties’ full strength.
• The God-Emperor summoned the Legion of the Damned as Mork, Khorne, Isha, Nurgle, and the Void Dragon joined the war, and the Silent King’s strike on the Warp egg released a monstrous being.
• Tzeentch awakened Horus, who battled the God-Emperor and the Emperor as the Primarchs poured their Warp essences into the Emperor to strengthen him.
• The six True Words brought forth the Fundamental God, and the God-Emperor, the Emperor, the Void Dragon, and the Silent King struggled to restrain Horus as the white void broke into the Milky Way.

• Years later, Lin Fan opened a portal to another Terra, while the Milky Way turned toward peaceful production and the God-Emperor cared for the diminished Khorne and Nurgle after Isha left to travel with Lin Fan.

Jaghatai’s secret books were stolen and brought to Terra, where their stories exposed Guilliman and Yvraine’s romance and triggered a spell that transformed the Primarchs and the Emperor. As the changed Primarchs adjusted to their new roles, Lin Fan finished writing the gate’s settings and learned that the gate was visible.

• Lin Fan welcomed Isha into the Webway meadow, while Delia and Yilafren drew close to him and Isha later brought the admiring Erika to his arms.
• Jaghatai’s secret books were copied by the Blood Ravens, and Guilliman and Sanguinius read his stories before Cegorach stole the books and carried them to Terra.
• Jaghatai joined Guilliman and Sanguinius in pursuit of Cegorach, but Cegorach distributed the books among the Primarchs at Terra and Jaghatai admitted that he had written them.
• Guilliman openly declared his love for Yvraine, while a spell linked to Jaghatai’s books transformed the Primarchs and The Emperor into women.
• The transformed Primarchs confronted their changed bodies and relationships, while Guilliman kept Jaghatai imprisoned and Lin Fan continued writing with Isha and the others on Catachan.
• The Emperor presented the female Primarchs as a source of maternal affection for Space Marines, and Sanguinius comforted the Blood Angels while Perturabo embraced an Iron Warrior.

Guilliman and Yvraine’s wedding became a chaotic battle before Isha reunited them, and Magnus and Leman Russ crossed the gate to investigate Terra. The brothers reached Kazimierz, where they helped Rhodes Island fight corrupted Originium Slugs and learned that the organization sought a cure for Oripathy.

• Trazyn told The Emperor and the Primarchs about the gate to another Terra, and Magnus and Leman Russ were chosen to investigate after Guilliman’s wedding.
• Guilliman prepared to marry Yvraine on Macragge as Isha shaped the ceremony, while Ongron’s Orks and Jaghatai’s intervention turned the wedding into a sprawling battle.
• Guilliman fought through the wedding defenses and reached Yvraine, then won her challenge and was whisked away with her on their honeymoon.
• Years later, Magnus and Leman Russ crossed the gate to Terra, found the passage back unusable, and rushed to Kazimierz when they sensed a massive energy anomaly.
• Magnus tore apart the Scourge threatening Kazimierz, then helped Leman Russ search rubble with the locals and learned about Originium and Oripathy.
• The brothers encountered Rhodes Island operators battling abnormal Originium Slugs, whose black-light visions and attacks overwhelmed the team.

Magnus and Leman Russ joined Rhodes Island and helped its forces fight Originium undead in Columbia, where Magnus uncovered and temporarily sealed a breach that was birthing Chaos. As the brothers returned to Rhodes Island with Blaze, disasters spread across Terra and the story left them heading for the Doctor to learn what was happening in the far north.

• The Doctor welcomed Magnus and Leman Russ to Rhodes Island, where they completed combat assessments, joined as operators, and had their unusual blood examined.
• Lyle and the mining camp survivors fled a horde of Originium Slugs and grotesque creatures that pursued them to a mobile city.
• Magnus and Leman Russ joined a Rhodes Island relief force in Columbia and discovered that Chaos had corrupted Originium, creating walking corpses that attacked Mafi New City.
• Leman Russ rescued Blaze and led soldiers through the battle while Magnus destroyed an Originium starfish feeding on the city reactor and spawning the corpses.
