The Imperium and Nazarick fought over the Far Eastern Cliff as Leman Russ battled the Dragon Lords and Ainz’s forces. Russ gained the Dionysian Spear and devastated his enemies, but Horus stabbed him and the Rotted Coffin Dragon Lord brought him down.

• Ainz revealed that the Imperium had learned about Wild Magic, and the Dragon Emperor ordered the Brightness Dragon Lord to defend the Far Eastern Cliff while Ainz demonstrated Soul-Fused Abominations.
• The Sandstorm Dragon Lord and Barren Hill Dragon Lord tried to bury Leman Russ and Magnus under a mountain, but Magnus survived and defeated them.
• Mare unleashed traps, lava, and Soul-Fused Abominations against the Imperium at the Far Eastern Cliff, but Leman Russ broke through and left Mare gravely injured.
• The Emperor sent Valdor, the Adeptus Custodes, and the Sisters of Silence to aid Leman Russ as Chaos forces attacked the Imperium elsewhere.
• Ainz, the Dragon Emperor, the True Dragon Lords, and Nazarick’s Guardians surrounded Leman Russ, but Angron and the Titan Legion arrived as the battle escalated.
• Aura trapped Leman Russ, Angron, Valdor, and the Imperium’s forces inside the Depiction of Nature and Society, where a monstrous imitation of Russ and skeletal frost wolves attacked them.
• Leman Russ took the Dionysian Spear, defeated Aura’s frost giant, escaped the false world, and killed several Guardians and more than seventy True Dragon Lords.
• Horus stabbed Leman Russ in the chest, then the Rotted Coffin Dragon Lord struck him with venomous souls and knocked him down while he still held the spear.

The Emperor and the Primarchs rallied the Imperium against the daemons while Ainz fell under the Random System’s influence and was ultimately killed. As the fighting continued, Curze saved Fulgrim from Slaanesh’s control and the Primarchs prepared to reinforce their brothers.

• Leman Russ shattered the Dragon Emperor’s God-Annihilating Spear, then collapsed as Angron led the Imperium’s retreat and defense against a rift spawning monsters.
• Ainz revived the Guardians, learned about the colliding world frameworks from the Random System, and captured the surviving Dragon Lords to harvest their souls.
• The Random System convinced Ainz to kill Mare, Shalltear, and Nazarick’s servants, then sent the Great Tomb against the Imperium as the Primarchs prepared to defend the portal.
• Magnus warned Horus, Lion El'Jonson, and Sanguinius that daemons were besieging Terra, and the Primarchs gathered allies and resources before returning to defend the Emperor.
• Konrad Curze persuaded the Primarchs to use prayers against the daemons, while the Emperor named Sanguinius his successor and entered the portal to confront Ainz.
• The Emperor killed Ainz, destroyed Nazarick’s defenses, and returned to the wider war as Sanguinius led the Imperium and Horus and Leman Russ fought together against Khorne’s forces.
• Fulgrim and Ferrus led their forces against Slaanesh’s daemons, but N’Kari’s trap and the Laer Blade turned Fulgrim against Ferrus until Curze severed his sword arm and freed him.
• Curze, Fulgrim, and Ferrus defeated the daemons and prepared to aid their brothers, while Fulgrim warned Fabius that he would be watching him.
